Tatsuya Fujiwara (藤原 竜也, Fujiwara Tatsuya, born May 15, 1982) is a Japanese actor. Internationally, he is best known for his leading roles as Shuya Nanahara in the Battle Royale films, Light Yagami in the Death Note films, Kaiji Ito in the Kaiji films, and Rikuhiko Yuki in Hideo Nakata's The Incite Mill. In 2014 he portrayed the villainous Shishio Makoto in the live action Rurouni Kenshin films.


Born in Saitama, Fujiwara has had an interest in acting from a young age.

In a flashback, Hiko Seijūrō finds young Shinta digging graves for bandits and slavers killed in battle. Shinta explains that all people are only bodies after death. Misa receives a second Death Note from Rem, another Shinigami. As Light joins the task force after Shiori's funeral, Misa becomes the second Kira and forces a TV station into broadcasting her tapes.
