Tetsuya Nishio (西尾鉄也, Nishio Tetsuya), né le 23 juin 1968 dans la préfecture d'Aichi au Japon, est un animateur et character designer japonais.

Biography

Tetsuya Nishio travaille au début de sa carrière de façon indépendante sur des séries télévisées, débutant comme intervalliste sur l'adaptation animée d'Osomatsu-kun en 1988 (réalisée par le Studio Pierrot). Puis, à partir de son embauche pour le projet Jin-Roh, la brigade des loups (long-métrage sorti en 1999), il travaille au sein du studio Production I.G.

Nishio a dirigé la conception des personnages (character designer) sur plusieurs films d'animation de Mamoru Oshii, dont Jin-Roh, la brigade des loups (film scénarisé par Oshii, mais réalisé par Hiroyuki Okiura), Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence et The Sky Crawlers. Il collabore aussi aux trois courts métrages Minipato, dérivés humoristiques de Patlabor, en dirigeant l'animation et en réalisant à la demande d'Oshii les dessins préliminaires des personnages au stylo-pinceau, technique dans laquelle il est réputé. Jin-Roh, acclamé pour sa qualité visuelle, est son premier travail sur un long-métrage, ce qui lui permet d'acquérir une nouvelle expérience différente de l'animation de séries télévisées.

Dans Jin-Roh, sa représentation réaliste des physionomies humaines et des foules, uniquement à la main sur celluloïd, est soulignée par les spécialistes. Dans Innocence se pose la difficulté d'animer de façon expressive les poupées et pantins sans copier l'animation des personnages humains. Nishio et son équipe utilisent pour cela fortement le langage corporel et une atmosphère inquiétante, sans conférer aux visages d'expressions trop humaines.

Nishio travaille également sur l'animation de séries télévisées très populaires, dont Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. 2nd GIG et Naruto. Son travail sur la conception des personnages de The Sky Crawlers (2008) lui vaut d'être récompensé au Tokyo International Anime Fair 2009.

Chief Aramaki conducts a raid to arrest the refugee dictator only to find him already dead. In retaliation, a Siak operative plans a terrorist attack with a micromachine virus. Batou is sent to intercept the Siak operative and encounters Kusanagi, who is conducting her own investigation. Before they can apprehend the operative, he dies while attacking them. Kusanagi takes a case of virus ampules and warns Batou to stay away from the Solid State Society before leaving.

The film opens with the bad predicting future that Naruto battles a monster that kills him and the Nine Tailed Fox inside of him, impaling him with its tail. A funeral is held for Naruto at his home village, where Sakura Haruno, Rock Lee and Neji Hyuga attending, along with others. Finally, the scene shows Tsunade looking out her window, asking if 'Everything is just decided by fate'.

L'histoire commence au Japon en 1814, pendant la période Edo. Edo est la ville actuellement appelée Tokyo. O-Ei est l'une des quatre filles du peintre Tetsuzo, qui se fait ensuite connaître sous le nom de Katsushika Hokusai. Il est capable de dessiner un ogre sur une surface de 120 tatamis comme de peindre deux moineaux sur un grain de riz, de dessiner des hommes influents, des dragons ou des scènes érotiques. C'est un homme à l'humeur changeante, sarcastique, qui n'est pas mû par la soif de l'argent. O-Ei tient de son père son talent et son obstination. Elle peint très souvent à sa place, sans signer son travail, afin de boucler les commandes ; elle n'obtient donc aucune reconnaissance pour son talent.

The story follows two brothers, Junpei and Kanta, who live on the island of Shikotan, shortly after World War II. On August 15, 1945, Russian soldiers land on Shikotan and occupy the island. Junpei and Kanta, who live with their grandfather, a fisherman, and their father, the head of the firefighting force of the village, are forced to move to the stables while the Russian commander's family, among them the commander's daughter Tanya, move into the main house. At school, Russian children occupy half the building, and Tanya and the other Russian kids begin to mingle with the Japanese children at recess. After a playground jostle makes Junpei bump into Tanya, they become friends and the two brothers are subsequently invited to Tanya's house for dinner.

Naruto Uzumaki and his Hidden Leaf peers track and drive off members of the Akatsuki who should no longer be alive. While his friends are praised by their families, Naruto wallows in loneliness before he is taken by Sakura Haruno to the park to hear her complain about her parents. However, Naruto revealed to have been tagged by the Akatsuki, the two are ambushed by Tobi as he uses the Limited Tsukuyomi (限定月読, Gentei Tsukuyomi) to transport them into an alternate reality based on their inner thoughts. Being called Menma (メンマ), Naruto and Sakura are surprised to find their friends acting the exact opposite of their usual selves along with a flirty Sasuke who never left the village. While Sakura learns that her parents are dead with her father as the reality's Fourth Hokage, Naruto sees his parents, Minato and Kushina, alive and well. Shortly after, Naruto and Sakura participate in a mission to retrieve a Red Moon scroll which details on how to defeat a mysterious masked ninja. During the mission, Kushina is injured when she protects Naruto and dissuades the youth's refusal to bond with his parents.

Following the death of her father Kazuo, Momo Miyaura and her mother Ikuko travel from Tokyo to the Seto Inland Sea. Momo carries Kazuo's unfinished letter, which contains only the words "Dear Momo." The two arrive at her mother's estate in Shio Island (汐島, Shiojima) and meet their relatives Sachio and Sae Sadahama as well as Koichi, a postman and Ikuko's friend. Momo is devastated and misses Tokyo. In the attic, she opens a present containing a rare picture book about goblins and Yōkai, collected by Sachio's father. Three droplets from the sky enter Ikuko's estate and transform into yokai consisting of Kawa, Mame, and Iwa, the group's leader.

Naruto Uzumaki is arrested to the criminal containment facility known as Hoozuki Jou (鬼灯城, lit. "Physalis Castle") in the Hidden Grass Village, after he is declared responsible for attacking the Fourth Raikage and the members of Jōnin from the Hidden Mist and Rock Village. There, Mui (無為), the head of the prison, places the Tenrou o Tsukau (天牢を使う, lit. "Sky Prison Control") seal on Naruto which limits his chakra. On the first night, Naruto uses a clone as a decoy to escape from prison, but his clone is secretly taken by Mui to have the Nine-tailed beast's chakra extracted which leads him to the real Naruto, and he is shortly recaptured and placed in solitary confinement, before delaying Mui's plans.

Assigning on a mission to capture a missing-nin named Mukade, Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, Yamato and Sai wield chakra-knives, which are uniquely designed trench knives that allow a ninja to infuse their chakra with it to produce an added effect. They head for the once glorious historic ruins of Rouran, a city with one thousand towers in the middle of the desert. They pursue and corner Mukade, whose goal is revealed to travel to the past and take over the Five Great Shinobi Countries with the power of the Ryūmyaku (the Ley Line in official English translation), an ancient chakra flow deep underground Rouran. He unleashes the power of the Ryūmyaku, which is sealed by Minato Namikaze (who was well known as Konoha's yellow flash), causing the light to engulf Naruto and Yamato, before Sai and Sakura rides on an ink bird and attempt to escape.
