Tom Wisdom (born 18 February 1973) is an English actor of theatre, film and television. His film roles include the downtrodden hero of Danny Patrick's Hey Mr DJ, Astinos in 300, and the archangel Michael in Syfy's Dominion.
Wisdom has stated that he's an avid lover of sports, "even the boring ones", and that he follows Liverpool F.C. devotedly. He plays football (soccer) himself, as well as "golf, tennis, badminton, cricket, snooker, pool" and others. If he didn't become an actor, Wisdom has stated that he would have liked to become a professional athlete. Wisdom also lists his other hobbies as cooking, reading, and watching films.

Biography
Wisdom was born in Swindon, Wiltshire, England. He is of Liverpool/Bolton mix. Wisdom grew up in many different places because of his father's position in the Royal Air Force, including English air bases in Swindon, Doncaster and Devon. Wisdom has two siblings, an older brother and a younger sister. Wisdom attended both the Taunton's College in Southampton and the Academy Drama School, where he became the recipient of the Stage Scholarship.Wisdom has stated that he's an avid lover of sports, "even the boring ones", and that he follows Liverpool F.C. devotedly. He plays football (soccer) himself, as well as "golf, tennis, badminton, cricket, snooker, pool" and others. If he didn't become an actor, Wisdom has stated that he would have liked to become a professional athlete. Wisdom also lists his other hobbies as cooking, reading, and watching films.

Devastated by the loss of her husband from a car accident, Audrey (Anna Walton) tries to commit suicide but is saved from death by her sister Alex (Emma Cleasby). She decides that the best course of action would be to stay in a cottage in the secluded Welsh countryside, where she will try to overcome her loss and her personal feelings of guilt about her husband's death. On her first day there Audrey meets local Theresa (Tanya Myers) and her husband Dr. Zellaby (Nick Brimble), who tell her about the cottage's previous owner, Douglas (Tom Wisdom), that died 30 years prior due to suicide. Soon Audrey begins to hear strange noises and discovers a locked door, which Zellaby states has not been opened since Douglas's death. Eventually the noises become too much for her and Audrey forces the door open to discover that it is full of various items belonging to Douglas, including letters from his fiancee Nell (Rebecca Kiser). At this point Douglas begins to manifest himself within the house, revealing himself to Audrey. The two are able to converse with one another but cannot physically interact and they begin to form an emotional bond. However as time passes the question arises as to whether or not Douglas is truly a kindred spirit or something more sinister.

In 1966, numerous pirate radio stations broadcast to the United Kingdom from ships anchored in international waters, specialising in rock and pop music that is not played on BBC Radio. One year after the famed Battle of Thermopylae, Dilios, a hoplite in the Spartan Army, begins his story by depicting the life of Leonidas I from childhood to kingship via Spartan doctrine. Dilios's story continues and Persian messengers arrive at the gates of Sparta demanding "earth and water" as a token of submission to King Xerxes; the Spartans reply by killing and kicking the messengers into a well. Leonidas then visits the Ephors, proposing a strategy to drive back the numerically superior Persians through the Hot Gates; his plan involves building a wall in order to funnel the Persians into a narrow pass between the rocks and the sea. The Ephors consult the Oracle, who decrees that Sparta will not go to war during the Carneia. As Leonidas angrily departs, a messenger from Xerxes appears, rewarding the Ephors for their covert support.
