Tonino Ricci a travaillé dans l'industrie cinématographique italienne depuis le début des années 1960, d'abord comme assistant réalisateur avec Mario Bonnard , Mario Bava, Antonio Leonviola et Paolo Bianchini . En 1969, il tourne son premier film, pour lequel il était également producteur, comme pour la quasi-totalité de ses films.Les films de genre de Tonino Ricci abordant des sujets aventureux ou fantastiques, ont souvent été ignorés ou sous-estimés par les critiques, bien qu'il ait obtenu des résultats respectables au vu de la faible budgétisation.

Set in the year 1896 in the Yukon Wilderness, the film opens when Charlie (Daniel Martin) a Native American fur trader, discovers his young son Mitsah (Missaele) attempting to befriend a wolf, he scares the beast away, believing it to be too wild and dangerous. Unknown to him, his son persists. Mitsah names the animal White Fang because of the ivory-white teeth the beast sprouts. That night, Charlie changes his mind about the animal when it arrives at his hut barking furiously. Mitsah, while strolling through the woods at night to meet his friend, falls through the thin ice of a frozen lake and the animal, a wolf/dog cross breed, raises the alarm.

Une compétition de bateaux, disputée par les partenaires Marco et Burt, tourne mal lorsque la mécanique de l'un des navires s'enraye. Les deux hommes se jettent à l'eau mais Marco est gravement blessé. Grâce à une intervention chirurgicale au cerveau, autorisée par Burt et leur amie Terry, Marco se réveille mais il est désormais amnésique. Après l’opération, il revient chez lui où sa femme Monica, son ami Tommy et Terry s’occupent de lui. Mais l'atmosphère s'avère être pesante et oppressante. Marco se met à sentir des non-dits, comme si, avant l'accident, certaines choses avaient été laissées en suspens. Bientôt, il soupçonne même une présence. D'autres images défilent : des souvenirs qui ressurgissent jusqu'au tourment, d'autant que Monica se refuse sexuellement à Marco, ajoutant ainsi à sa confusion. Non loin de la demeure, le jardinier lui annonce anonymement qu'un complot se trame contre lui et qu'il souhaite en parler avec lui. Mais il est aussitôt assassiné à coups de couteau... Puis le commissaire annonce à Marco qu'il a été victime d'un sabotage lors de la course. Paranoïaque, découvre que son épouse Monica n'est pas étrangère à cette machination.

Local crime boss Manuel kidnaps Dolores, the daughter of rich rancher Mendoza. Her father hires Django to free his child. Unfortunately Django fails to surprise Manuel's men. They punish him severely. A friendly woman finds him and thanks to her tendance he proves able to recover. To his dismay she dies when Manuel's gang robs a stagecoach.
