Bingham was born in North Cambridge, Massachusetts, the daughter of Betty, a librarian, and Lafayette Bingham, an aircraft technician. She is the sister of Larry, Wayne, Tommy, Jenny, Neil, and Elizabeth Bingham. She is the niece of the former Chief of Police of Mashpee, Massachusetts, Dewey Bingham.She was in the class of 1986 at Cambridge Rindge and Latin School.
She currently participates in a daily morning broadcast on WAAF in the Boston area.

Quentin "Fifty Dollah" Waise (Master P) is involved in a crime ring that earns him good money but worries his grandmother (Marla Gibbs), who dotes on him and encourages him to follow a more righteous path.
