Victor Beaumont (born Peter Wolff; 7 November 1912 – 21 March 1977) was a German-born British film and television actor.
As Peter Wolff, he appeared in a number of German films (Revolt in the Reform School, Der brave Suender etc.) and at least one play (Die erste Mrs Selby). After emigrating to the United Kingdom in the 1930s, he appeared in British films and television dramas from the 1940s and Hollywood films from the 1960s. He is perhaps best known for his portrayals of Nazi German characters in films such as Where Eagles Dare (1968) in which he played Colonel Weissner, Carve Her Name with Pride (1958), The Guns of Navarone (1961) and The Heroes of Telemark (1965).
His television appearances included two episodes of The Saint.

In an unnamed European town, children go to a candy shop after school. Charlie Bucket (Peter Ostrum), whose family is poor, can only stare through the window as the shop owner sings "Candy Man". The newsagent for whom Charlie works after school gives him his weekly pay, which Charlie uses to buy a loaf of bread. On his way home, he passes Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. A mysterious tinker (Peter Capell) recites the first lines of William Allingham's poem "The Fairies", and tells Charlie, "Nobody ever goes in, and nobody ever comes out." Charlie rushes home to his widowed mother (Diana Sowle) and his four bedridden grandparents. After he tells Grandpa Joe (Jack Albertson) about the tinker, Joe tells him that Wonka locked the factory because his arch-rival, Mr. Slugworth, and other candy makers sent in spies disguised as employees to steal Wonka's recipes. Wonka disappeared, but three years later began selling more candy; the origin of Wonka's labour force is a mystery.

In the winter of 1943–44, U.S. Army Brigadier General George Carnaby (Robert Beatty), a chief planner of the second front, is captured by the Germans when his aircraft is shot down en route to Crete. He is taken for interrogation to the Schloss Adler, a fortress high in the Alps of southern Bavaria. A team of Allied commandos, led by British Major John Smith (Richard Burton) and U.S. Army Ranger Lieutenant Morris Schaffer (Clint Eastwood), is briefed by Colonel Turner (Patrick Wymark) and Admiral Rolland (Michael Hordern) of MI6. Their mission is to parachute in, infiltrate the castle, and rescue General Carnaby before the Germans can interrogate him. In 1944, art masterpieces stolen by the Wehrmacht from French museums are being shipped to Germany; the officer in charge of the operation, Colonel Franz von Waldheim (Paul Scofield), is an ardent art lover and is determined to take the art to Germany, no matter the cost. After the Germans remove the art chosen by Waldheim from the Jeu de Paume Museum, curator Mademoiselle Villard (Suzanne Flon) seeks help from the French Resistance. This pseudo-biographical movie depicts Sigmund Freud's life from 1885 to 1890. During the Second World War, the British government hands out a top-secret mission to two look-alikes, an airman and a secret agent (both played by Rix). The airman is instructed to impersonate the agent to confuse the Germans, while the real agent must enter occupied France to spy on the new buzz bombs. Unfortunately, their orders get mixed up and the airman ends up in France. When he is accidentally fired back to England inside one of the defused bombs, the airman becomes a national hero. Meanwhile the real agent tries in vain to prove his true identity.
