Viju Khote (Vittal Bapurao Khote) (born 17 December) is an Indian actor who has worked as character actor in more than 300 films in Hindi cinema and Marathi cinema. He is famous as the dacoit Kalia in the film Sholay and the dialogue, "Sardar maine aapka namak khaya hai" and Robert in movie Andaz Apna Apna with the dialogue "galti se mistake hogaya". On television he is most remembered for his role in Zabaan Sambhalke (1993). He has also acted in Marathi theatre over the years.
He is actress Shubha Khote's younger brother by 5 years. Their father Nandu Khote was a noted stage actor and in silent movies, whose sister-in-law was actress Durga Khote.

After the untimely death of their only son,Iqbaal(Ankit Bathla), neurosurgeon, Dr Tariq Sheikh (Farooq Sheikh) and his wife Dr Saira (Sarika) are unable to put the pieces of their broken life together. Chastised by their son, Aayush's Hindi school-teacher for not conversing in one of the national languages, as well as ignoring the relevance of the word 'Atithi', Mumbai-based Bollywood writer, Puneet (Ajay Devgn), and his wife, Munmun (Konkona Sen Sharma), go out of their way to welcome an hitherto unknown paternal uncle, Lambodar (Paresh Rawal), from Gorakhpur. The story follows Pritam (Mithun Chakraborty), an elderly bus driver. His three good-for-nothing sons, Madhav (Arshad Warsi) the group leader; Laxman (Kunal Khemu) the poetic idiot; and Lucky (Tushar Kapoor) the innocent mute are always up to trouble, mostly by scamming people. On the other hand, Geeta (Ratna Pathak) is an elderly woman, whose two sons, Laxman (Shreyas Talpade); and Gopal (Ajay Devgn) the strong but kind leader; own a water sports stall at the beach. Gopal & Laxman's partner Daboo (Kareena Kapoor)on whom Gopal has a crush, but never shows it. Three robbers – Puppy (Johny Lever), Dagga (Sanjai Mishra) and Teja (Vrajesh Hirjee) — rob the queen's necklace and are on the run from police and end up in Goa. Puppy,the don, who suffers from short-term memory, hides the necklace in Pritam's house. Soon enough, Pritam's sons open a water sports shack opposite Geeta's sons' stall, and a rivalry begins. Filled with mayhem, both the groups try to take down each other's business but fail hilariously. In response to this, Pritam goes to meet Geeta, (although he doesn't know that they are Geeta's sons) to sort this rivalry out, and it turns out that Pritam & Geeta were college-lovers. Daboo overhears their love story, and decides to get the two married, without their sons' permissions. After the marriage, the two families start living in one house, filled with non-stop laughs & mayhem.It is also revealed to the five sons that they are not Pritam & Geeta's sons,but orphans after overheard by Lucky, although they vow not to tell them that they know that they are orphans and, to hide that, they become friendly like brothers.They also open a big shop of toys aided by Vasooli bhai (another not-so-don don)and Puppy for money. Puppy eventually remembers where he hid the necklace, and turns himself in along with his goons Dagga and Teja.

Set in Mumbai, the film starts with Raj (Paresh Rawal), a good-for-nothing movie director who has released certain films, but none of them ever do well at the box office. Three friends - Bhavesh (Shreyas Talpade), Parag (Javed Jaffrey) and Pariksheet (Aashish Chaudhary) live in Pattaya, as paying guests in a house owned by Kiska Miglani (Asrani). Bhavesh works as a chef in a restaurant called Namaste India, owned by Ballu Singh (Johnny Lever). Ballu has a younger brother, Ronnie (Chunky Pandey), who wants ownership the restaurant, because he owes a considerable amount of money to a gangster, Murli (Inder Kumar). Parag is a screen writer for a television channel and Parikshit is a car salesman working for Aarti Gupta (Neha Dhupia). Eventually all three of them lose their jobs. The three friends are later joined by Jayesh (Vatsal Seth) from Mumbai, who is a cousin of Parikshit's, and tells them that an apartment is included if he gets a job at an architecture firm. After getting drunk celebrating Jayesh's arrival, they privately insult Kiska, who arrives back home unexpectedly, hears what they are saying and kicks them out. They go out in search of a place to stay and a friend of Parikshit's suggests paid lodgings. Parikshit and Jayesh go to the home to find its owner is Ballu Singh, to whom they are oblivious of the fact that he is Bhavesh's former employer. Ballu and his wife, Sweety (Delnaaz Paul), agree to let them stay on one condition - they must be married.

Ashfaque (Ajay Devgn) is a small town boy aspiring to be a film star in the Hindi film industry. When the Kalakar Theatre Company, a theatre group in Goa, attempts to stage a political drama, the local authorities close down the play and force them to perform a more traditional play, a stage version of Mughal-E-Azam. The company then discovers that an underworld don is engineering a bomb blast to shake confidence in the Indian government. The drama company forms a plan to save the entire city from the blast. The actors, led by their producer Uday (Paresh Rawal), are assisted by RAW agent Arjun Rastogi (Rahul Bose) in their efforts to foil the bombing. Arjun falls in love with Uday's wife, Shabnam (Mallika Sherawat) who also becomes involved with an ISI agent (Kay Kay Menon). Performing multiple roles in disguise, the characters eventually save the entire nation from the bomb blast.

This is a story about an singer/dancer Vicky Verma (Aryeman Ramsay). While he was a top student in his school and college days, he is not having much luck finding work, clients or projects. All he does seems to go wrong. Afterwards, Saba (Sayali Bhagat) one of the most luckiest girls in the city, meets Vicky at a masked-party and the two kiss which swaps their luck around. Vicky gets as lucky as hell, and Saba gets jinxed. After she finds out that her luck changed due to that kiss, Saba goes out looking for Vicky even though she has never seen his face because he was wearing a mask at the party when they kissed. Vicky gets signed a contract deal by Tarun Chopra (Lucky Ali), but its later cancelled when Saba finds him and kisses him to get the luck back. She goes to work, only to get fired, knowing that Vicky was going to use the luck not on him but on his little cousin who has a heart-problem. She once again kisses him to give him the luck back, and Vicky kisses his little cousin and she gets all the luck. After he does that, he ends up winning Saba's love and admiration. After Saba and Vicky get together, Vicky and Saba's life's change and they becomes prosperous.

The film revolves around two people. Lal is an ambitious guy who wants to start his own business and make it big in life. Das is a loudmouth, and a very arrogant person. The two manage to get hold of 5000 rupees and they open a vada pav centre. As luck would have it, Lal wins Rs. 2 lakhs in a contest. The duo plan to start a travel agency. Since they do not have enough money to buy a vehicle, they use spare parts of old cars to create a bus. Trusting Das to come up with a good make of a bus, he blindly hands over the prize money to him. Lal manages to get passengers for their first ride. But when the bus comes all hell breaks loose with people demanding their money back.
