Vineeth Sreenivasan is an Indian playback singer, film actor, director, and screenwriter. He is the son of actor and screenwriter Sreenivasan. He started off his film career as a playback singer for musicals, as well as music albums such as Coffee @ Mg Road. Vineeth made his acting debut in Cycle (2008). His well known films include Makante Achan (2009) and Chappa Kurish (2011). In 2010, Vineeth made his directional debut with Malarvadi Arts Club. His second film was Thattathin Marayathu (2012). His third film was Thira (2013) in which he introduced his younger brother Dhyan Sreenivasan.
He is a part of the band Malayalee with Jakes Bejoy, Shaan Rahman and Arjun Sasi. He has also acted as one of the main protagonists in the Malayalam film titled Cycle which did well at the box office. Vineeth did his second movie role with his father in the movie Makante Achan.
He writes the lyrics of most of his album songs and has also shown his direction skills, directing his own music videos. His music album Coffee @ MG Road became a super hit instantly. He got first prize in Mappilappattu in the Kerala State Youth Festival 1998, where he outshown his ability for quick wit. When he was asked whether his father liked him singing Mappilappattu, he answered, "He didn't have any hatred towards my Mappilappattu, to my knowledge."
Vineeth won the AMMA Best Male Singer Award 2008 for his songs "Mampullikkavil" and "Jillu Jillu" and also the Best Male new face of the year 2008 by Asianet, for his role in Cycle. Vineeth wrote the script and Lyrics and debuted as director for the movie Malarvadi Arts Club with seven new young actors. A mechanical engineer from KCG College of Technology, Chennai, Vineeth Sreenivasan is the son of noted Malayalam screenwriter and actor Sreenivasan.He is a part of the band Malayalee with Jakes Bejoy, Shaan Rahman and Arjun Sasi. Kunjiraman (Vineeth Sreenivasan), nephew of Well-done Vasu(Mamukkoya), plans to marry his daughter Thankamani. All plans are thwarted by his dim-witted cousin brother Laalu (Dhyan Sreenivasan). To avenge this he goes to Gulf to make money and returns to his hometown Desam. He plans to marry well and before that of Vasu's daughter wedding. Laalu (Dhyan Sreenivasan) secretly plots against Kunjiraman with Kuttan (Aju Varghese), his role model. Kunjiraman gets engaged to other women but all end up in cancellations. Villagers superstitiously believe that it was Kunjiraman's actions that brings the subsequent problems and curses to Desam. Later the issues are solved by a chain of events. Both Laalu and Kuttan are left to the short end of stick with their plotting's.

The story is set in an engineering college, where Umesh (Nivin Pauly) is studying. Umesh is a carefree engineering student, who has 42 back papers to clear. His close pals are Shaji (Aju Varghese) and Thankaprasad (Neeraj Madhav). Wanting to find a quick way to earn money and fame, he decides to try his hand at movies, and wants to assist none other than the renowned South-Indian director Gautham Vasudev Menon. His friend Shaji suggests that he make a short film and upload it on the internet. But the result is utter failure, after losing the camera in an accident. On the train, he sees Daisy (Manjima Mohan), his neighbour back home. Umesh tries to woo Daisy throughout the journey, but miserably fails. He lies to his friends that they are having an affair, tricks her into posing for a selfie with him, and sends it to Shaji.

Police constables Balagopal (Sreejith Ravi) and Jolly Kurien (Joju George) have been at odds for years but are under orders to transfer two prisoners from Kannur to Trivandrum. They board the Parasuram express with the handcuffed inmates. While at the Kayamkulam station, prisoner Nandu (Vineeth Sreenivasan) escapes. The two officers get off the train at the next stop with second inmate Maran (Chemban Vinod Jose) and frantically searches for Nandu. The three unlikely musketeers finds the back-story of Nandu. Nandu's father, Narayanan (Nedumudi Venu) always have a wrongful intention to his step-sister, Lakshmi (Nikki Galrani). Nandu, one day determines to kill his father for the same, but the trap he set accidentally killed his mother. He was arrested for his mother's murder. One day his Narayanan comes to visit him at jail and reveals his true intentions for his step-sister. Nandu determines to escape at any possible opportunities. The three musketeers finds Nandu while roughing with Narayanan, both with the intention to kill. Accidentally Jolly Kurien kills Nandu's father. With knowing Narayanan's story, Maran devises a plan to not let the issue known to others, to which everyone agrees. Narayanan's body is buried in a nearby church cemetery at that night itself. In the end of the day everyone is shown as happy in their karmic lives.

The movie begins in 1983, where Dr. Mathew Devasya (Renji Panicker) anxiously paces the hall outside of a delivery room. He learns that his wife has delivered a baby boy and thanks God for the good news. A stranger comments that Mathew was lucky not to have a daughter, as he would have had to worry about her all his life. As the stranger says this, a nurse comes out of the delivery room carrying the baby, apologizing that she made a mistake, and confirming that the baby is actually a girl. The story first shows Nithya(Namitha Pramod) a sand artist doing her program. When she returns she meets with an accident which leads to memory loss that can allow her remember anything for just 24 hours. She keeps a memory book (orma pusthakam)where she jots down all her memories.Then they show Gautham(Vineeth Sreenivasan)a young businessman who also has suffers from temporary memory problems. His mother(Rohini)get annoyed with him and asks him to Marry a girl Hema (Muktha) whom he doesn't like . Angry with his mother by this he and his Grandmother(Lakshmi) makes a plan. The plan makes him say that he is in love with another girl and the next day they are going to have a date. The next morning he goes for a city round instead for a date. He then meets Nithya and watches her Sand art and memory show. They fall in love. Nithya's does not write her memories in her memory book as she thinks if they are real soul mates then this magic will happen. The next day they meet but Nithya does not recognize Gautham. Then Gautham, his friend Apoorva( Aju Vargese) and Nithya's sister Neetu (Soumya Sadanandan) makes up plans and at last he succeeds. He tells his mother that he loves Nithya and then brings her to Gautham's House. There they realize their Love for each Other. But the next day Nithya forgets him but retrieves back about him after reading her memory book. She then says that they can never say together and so tears his memories from her book. They go in their own ways. One day when Gautham is going for a meeting in USA he meets Neetu in the Airport. She says that Nithya is fine. She then shows him the video of Nithya's Program. HE sees hat the pictures drawn were related to him. That moment he stops his trip and goes to watch Nithya's show. There when she sees him she gets emerged up and draws her image with inner strength. But when he went and asked him whether she remembers him she says no. Gautham returns and than sees his mother in the auditorium. His mother asks him to turn back. When he looks at the screen he sees Nithya drawing his face. Gautham runs back to the stage and asks her "whether she really does not know him". She replies that "even without knowing who you are I used to draw your pictures". There they understand that even though she forgets everything after 24 hours she will never be able to forget him as she loves him.

The story is set in Karnataka and Goa.
