Woo Min-ho (우민호, né en 1971) est un réalisateur et scénariste sud-coréen.
Il débute avec le thriller Man of Vendetta (2010), suivi de la comédie d'action The Spies (2012), tous deux avec Kim Myung-min dans le rôle principal. Son thriller politique Inside Men (2015), basé sur le webtoon The Insiders de Yoon Tae-ho , parle des systèmes corrompus existant en Corée et met l’accent sur la concurrence intense entre les personnages. Le film raconte l'ascension et la chute de Lee Doo-sam (Song Kang-ho), un petit malfrat de Busan, qui commence par aider un groupe de trafiquants de drogues rencontré par hasard. Astucieux et plein d'idées, il intègre ce milieu, gravit peu à peu les échelons de la mafia et développe son propre trafic, jusqu'à bâtir un empire de la drogue du Japon à Busan. Lee Kang-hee, an editor at an influential conservative newspaper, raises congressman Jang Pil-woo to the position of leading Presidential candidate using the power of the press; behind this is his secret deal with the paper's biggest sponsor. Ahn Sang-goo, a political henchman who supported Lee and Jang, gets caught pocketing the record of the sponsor's slush fund, resulting in a dismembered hand. Woo Jang-hoon, an ambitious prosecutor, starts to investigate the relationship between Jang and the sponsor, believing that it's his only chance to make it to the top. Joo Young-soo (Kim Myung-min) is a devoted Christian and well-respected pastor whose 5-year-old daughter, Hye-rin (Kim So-hyun), gets kidnapped. The story starts with Young-soo attempting to give the kidnapper the ransom money in exchange for his daughter in an ice hockey rink, but because of his wife, Min-kyung's (Park Joo-mi) interference by informing the police, the kidnapper doesn't show. Eight years later, Young-soo loses his faith in God and leaves the church while his wife is still desperately searching for their daughter. He opens up a business and mocks his wife for not losing hope. He soon receives a call from the kidnapper, saying his daughter is still alive and they're asking for more ransom money, demanding that there be no police this time. Now given another chance to save his daughter, he takes matters into his own hands.
