Yueh Hua est un acteur hongkongais né le 13 juillet 1942 à Shangaï et mort le 20 octobre 2018 à Vancouver (Canada) ayant tourné plus d'une centaine de films à partir de la seconde moitié des années 1960.
Selon Lisa Stokes, il peut être considéré comme l'acteur le plus prolifique et le plus polyvalent de la Shaw Brothers.

Biography
Né à Shanghai d'une famille originaire de Canton, il est recruté par la Shaw Brothers en 1963. Rapidement, il a la chance de participer au film L'Hirondelle d'or dont le succès lance sa carrière ; il tourne aux côtés de Cheng Pei-pei six autres films par la suite. Au cours des années 1970, il s'illustre notamment dans les films de chevalerie de Chu Yuan mais tourne aussi des comédies et des films érotiques, parfois avec de prestigieux réalisateurs internationaux comme Alfonso Brescia. Zhao Zilong begins his career by enlisting in Liu Bei's army. He befriends a fellow soldier, Luo Ping'an, who is also from his hometown in Changshan. Not long later, Zhao participates in a battle against Liu Bei's rival Cao Cao. He follows Zhuge Liang's plan and launches a sneak attack on the enemy camp at night, achieving his first victory. Liu Bei is overwhelmed by Cao Cao and is forced to retreat to Phoenix Heights but is separated from his family during the chaos. Luo is ordered to find and bring Liu's family back safely but fails. Zhang Fei is angered and thrusts his spear towards Luo, but Zhao blocks the attack and engages Zhang and Guan Yu in a fight. Zhao remains undefeated after dueling for several rounds and Liu Bei is impressed by his skill. Zhao offers to retrieve Liu's family, and Guan Yu and Zhang Fei cover him while he breaks through enemy lines to begin the search.

Following the death of a triad leader, there is conflict within the Hong Kong organised crime syndicate as various possible leaders vie for power. David Chiang attempts to bring the traitor in the midst of his own group to justice following a taped conversation of traitor admitting his crimes, but who cannot be found, while Danny Lee, the elected leader of the triad has his family attacked as he fights unknown enemies to bring the organisation back under control. Their actions are hindered by Chow Sing Chi who is attempting to build up anger between the two completing triads of Hong Kong. The film is brought to a bloody conclusion as the traitor leader of the group storms the triad safe house in a desperate attempt to gain control over the group, but is met by heavy resistance.

Chu Liuxiang is having drinks with his friend, Monk Wuhua. The film opens with the chief Shaolin Monks realizing that time is not on their side and they must train more fighters to fight the Qings. The monk Hai Hsien (Shan Mao) opposes this as he is secretly working for the court. Outside many men are sitting in front of the temple waiting to be accepted in, Fang Shih Yu (Fu Sheng), Ma Chao-hsing (Tony Liu) and others, as the temple tests the will of potential students by making them wait outside for days, eventually the two are accepted in for "training". Fang Shih Yu becomes frustrated immediately as Shaolin methods of teaching martial arts are rather obscure, although Ma Chao-hsing begins learning the five animal styles from the start.
