Synopsis
En pleine nuit, deux hommes courent au-dessus des barbelés d'une prison. Serait-ce une tentative d'évasion ? En tout cas, stupéfaction de tout le personnel, du maton chef au directeur en passant par les détenus quand l'un des deux fuyards réintègre sa cellule. Tous vont tenter de résoudre cette énigme d'autant plus difficile que l'homme n'a jamais prononcé un mot depuis son incarcération. Cet évènement extraordinaire met la prison et ses occupants sens dessus dessous.Actors

A snake-like parasite crawls into the uterus of an abused woman and circus performer named Yanka (Emmanuelle Escourrou). The parasite demands human blood from Yanka who is first reluctant, but then finds that the only relationship she has is with the parasite. Yanka commits murders to devour the victims blood in order to nurture the parasite. The parasite tells her that it is a creature that will replace man as the dominant species on the planet in five million years, and must be released in the ocean. The creature is eventually released in the sea where it abandons Yanka.

Jessica has moved from her small Burgundian town of Mâcon to Paris to start a new life, inspired by her grandmother, Madame Roux, who "always loved luxury". In Paris, she initially has trouble finding work, and spends one evening without shelter. She eventually gets a job waitressing in a small café, the Bar des Théâtres, even though the café, following tradition, has never before hired female waiters. The owner hires Jessica only because he is expecting large crowds soon and needs staff. The café is in an area of Paris close by several artistic venues, including the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées and a concert hall, on Avenue Montaigne. Issue de milieu modeste, la jeune Emma Eckhert commence sa carrière comme employée dans la chapellerie familiale. En 1921, elle connaît ses premiers ennuis avec la justice en même temps qu'elle scandalise son entourage par son homosexualité. Son mariage avec Moïse Nathanson, un ami de la famille plus âgé qu'elle, ne l'empêche ainsi pas de poursuivre sa liaison avec Camille Sowcroft, la fille d'un bijoutier, qui l'aide à s'enrichir en lui avançant de l'argent qu'Emma fait rapidement fructifier par d'astucieuses opérations boursières. En 1929, Emma est devenue l'une des banquières les plus appréciées de Paris. Mais sa fulgurante réussite lui attire entre autres l'antipathie du puissant banquier Horace Vannister, qui est une réplique du banquier Horace Finaly ; celui-ci intervient auprès du Président du Conseil Préfailles, qui est une réplique de Raymond Poincaré, pour faire interdire les activités d'Emma Eckhert, qui est une réplique de Marthe Hanau et la poursuivre en justice. Celle-ci finit par être assassinée au cours d'un meeting où elle expliquait aux épargnants qui lui avaient fait confiance, comment elle allait les rembourser.

The film begins in a working-class neighborhood in the Paris of the 1960s. The main character, Moїse Schmidt (Momo), is a young Jewish boy growing up without a mother and with a father afflicted by crippling depression. Momo is fascinated by the elderly Turkish Muslim man, Ibrahim Demirci ([demiɾˈdʒi]), who runs a grocery store across the street from his apartment (where Momo often shoplifts). Their relationship develops and soon Momo feels closer to Ibrahim than to his father. Ibrahim affectionately calls Moїse Momo, and adopts him when his father leaves and commits suicide. Momo and Ibrahim go on a journey to Turkey, Ibrahim's homeland, in their new car (a Simca Aronde Océane) where Momo learns about Ibrahim's culture. Before they can have an big advanture, Ibrahim is killed in a car crash and Momo returns to Paris to take over the shop.
