Aksharaya is about a 12-year-old boy (Isham Samzudeen), and his parents. His father is a retired High Court Judge Ravindra Randeniya and his mother (Piyumi Samaraweera) is a famous magistrate in the city.
Super Six is based a group of friends who live in an enclosed apartment, crazy about nothing but cricket, thinking of playing in a six-a-side tournament. They do many things to keep their team as the best ever six-a-side team, but the mischievous behavior of each and every one causes problems within the team. After the joining of the rival team captain, Jude, the story takes an unexpected twist.
The film starts in a room full of bomb making material and newspaper articles about LTTE bombings in Sri Lanka, the screen then cuts to a typical busy morning in Colombo. "The Man" (Ben Kingsley) plants five bombs around the city; on a public bus, in a shopping mall and the Polgoda police station, on an intercity train, and at the Katukurunda Airfield. The man then establishes his mini control station on top a skyscraper in Dehiwala and calls the police chief Morris Da Silva (Ben Cross) and informs him that if four prisoners are not released, the bombs will be detonated.
Nirudaka (Joe Abeywickrema) is an ugly man who is only loved by his mother (Denawaka Hamine) and taunted by others. He falls in love with blind Sundari (Sriyani Amarasena) and they get married.
The plot is a story of two youths who are engaged on a soul searching mission. D (played by Prasanna Mahaganage) is a youth of 29 who is frustrated with life not having a reason to live. He yearns for some form of connection, when Kathy (played by Purnima Mohandiram) visits him. She comes to D after a little crash with her partner KK (played by Namal Jayasinghe). Kathy is waiting for a call from her boyfriend to confirm that he still needs her, but the call never comes. D and Kathy spend a day waiting, yet nothing happens. D and Kathy make desperate attempts to reveal their emotions to each other, but they soon realize that they have forgotten the language of connectivity. However, D began to create dreams around her. Unable to face the trauma of nothingness and emptiness, Kathy leaves, leaving D behind in a state more heartbroken than before and waiting for her to return.

Cyril (Tony Ranasinghe) is dissatisfied with his introverted fiancee Sujatha (Punya Heendeniya). He starts a relationship with the more out-going Sarojini (Anula Karunatilleke) and gets her pregnant. Sujatha meanwhile is fascinated by a wandering Buddhist monk.
