Brett Halsey (born Charles Oliver Hand on June 20, 1933, in Santa Ana, California) is an American film actor, sometimes credited as Montgomery Ford. He had a prolific career in B pictures and in European-made feature films. He originated the role of John Abbott on the soap opera The Young and the Restless, a role he filled only from May 1980 to March 1981, when he was replaced by Jerry Douglas.
Halsey is a great-nephew of the United States Navy Admiral William F. Halsey, Jr.,
aka Bull Halsey, commander of the Pacific Allied naval forces during WWII. Universal Pictures selected Brett Halsey's acting name from the admiral.
From 1960 to 1962, Halsey was married to Italian actress Luciana Paluzzi. They had one son, Christian. In 1961, the two co-starred as a newlywed couple in the film, Return to Peyton Place. In 1964, Halsey married the popular German actress and singer Heidi Brühl. They had two children, son Clayton Alexander Siegfried and daughter Nicole. They were divorced in 1976. Toward the end of the 1990s, Halsey moved to San José, Costa Rica, to teach film acting. He now resides in Laguna Hills with his fourth wife, Victoria (née Korda), granddaughter of Alexander Korda. He writes and makes occasional film appearances.

Biography
In 1954, Halsey married Renate Hoy, an actress who had won the Miss Germany contest that year, and who appeared in such films as The Sea Chase with John Wayne. They had two children, son Charles Oliver Hand, Jr. (a.k.a. Rock Halsey or Rock Bottom of the notorious Los Angeles punk rock band, Rock Bottom and the Spys) and daughter, Tracy Leigh. Halsey and Hoy divorced in 1959.From 1960 to 1962, Halsey was married to Italian actress Luciana Paluzzi. They had one son, Christian. Johnny Ringo is a Texas Ranger out to stop a counterfeiting ring. However, a large part of the story (and of the efforts of the hero) instead involves a triangle drama between big boss Jackson, the rancher Ray Scott, saloon singer Annie – mistress to the former and lover of the latter – and by way of Ray also his sister Christine. The connection of this to the mission of the hero is that Ray may be convinced to testify against Jackson. The real counterfeit artist turns out to be the sheriff - Ringo’s partner to the investigation.

Jonathan Strauss, un ancien déporté d'origine allemande, à refait sa vie en Israël, où il est ingénieur. The Magnificent Cuckold is about a hat tycoon who is ecstatically, if not hungrily, in love with his youthful wife. It is all blissful, that is, until our man, middle-aged and somewhat of a square among his blasé, upper-class friends to whom cuckoldry is a common practice, is seduced by one of them. At this point doubts and suspicions, like conscience, begin to plague him. If he could succumb to extramarital confections, why not his gorgeous mate? Quickly his love for his spouse degenerates beyond obsessive, into the realm of maniacal. He becomes madly concerned that his wife is cheating on him --even though she is not being unfaithful. When he looks at her it becomes obvious to him that she is a very attractive woman. And, all the men around her must be dying to be with her. Gnawed by jealously, he will imagine variations on nabbing her and her lover red-handed.
