Murray Seafield Saint-George Head (born 5 March 1946) is an English actor and singer, most recognised for his international hit songs "Superstar" (from the 1970 rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar) and "One Night in Bangkok" (the 1985 single from the musical Chess, which topped the charts in various countries), and for his 1975 album Say It Ain't So. He has been involved in several projects since the 1960s and continues to record music, perform concerts and make appearances on television either as himself or as a character actor.

The story begins as George Sand quits her marital home and arrives in Paris with her two children. Le documentaire retrace l'itinéraire de Patrick Dewaere, depuis ses débuts à l'âge de 4 ans jusqu'à son suicide, le 16 juillet 1982. On découvre ainsi qu'il appartient à une famille d'artistes dont les parents n'hésitent pas à mettre leur progéniture sur les planches et les plateaux de cinéma ou de télévision. Le métier connaît alors « les petits Maurin » que la maman, Mado Maurin, sait adroitement placer auprès des producteurs et réalisateurs. Le documentaire alterne ainsi des extraits de films et téléfilms et des entretiens avec son agent Serge Rousseau, Miou-Miou, sa fille Angèle Herry-Leclerc, ses épouses Sotha et Elsa-Malvina Chalier ainsi que le témoignage de plusieurs réalisateurs qui l'ont fait tourner parmi lesquels Bertrand Blier qui l'a reçu chez lui la veille de son suicide et avec lequel il a longuement dialogué.

The plot is based around a successful, yet very shy painter Yann (Pierre Richard) who is in love with a married woman Florence (Fanny Cottençon). When he finally manages to have a date with her in his apartment, he has to face big problems. His neighbour Boris, another painter (and an artist maudit) who is extremely jealous towards his young wife Éva, leaves his flat without his suitcase, and when Éva, dressed only in lingerie, runs out of the door to let him know, a draft of air closes her door and she has to ask Yann for help. Unfortunately, that is just the moment when both Boris and Florence turn up. The story gets even more complicated as Florence's husband also comes to Yann's flat, and when Yann, when joking, mistakes a toy gun for a real one, and lightly injures Boris. But eventually all comes to a happy end.
