Journey Back to Youth (Russian: Путешествие в юность, Puteshestvie v yunost) is a 2001 documentary film by Russian film makers, Alexander Gutman and Sergei Litviakov, an interview of four German women who tell the story of four young German girls from East Prussia placed into a Soviet labor camp by the end of World War II according to the Stalin's decisions about forced labor of Germans in the Soviet Union about mobilization of Germans for reconstruction works in the USSR.

The film won the Platinum Award at the 34th International Independent Film Festival (Worldfest) in Houston, TX in 2001 and the "Gold Camera Award" at the US International Film and Video Festival in 2001.

Using film made at American prisons, Leuchter talked about his upbringing where his father was a corrections officer. Through his family associations, young Leuchter claimed he was able to witness an execution performed in an electric chair. Leuchter's impression of the event was that the electric chairs used by American prisons were unsafe and often ineffective. The event led him to design modifications to the device that were adopted by many American states.

The MOVE organization was originally established as a "back to nature" movement that practiced "green" methods. When their methods became more radical, featuring profane bullhorn speeches, unsanitary conditions, and questionable child raising, the group began to draw the attention of the Philadelphia community and the police alike. The conviction of nine members for the third degree murder of a policeman after a shoot-out in 1978 further cemented the group's belief that the police were corrupt and determined to bring the movement down.
