D'où viens-tu Johnny ? est un film français réalisé par Noël Howard, sorti en 1963.
Western à la française, dans une Camargue tenant lieu de Far West, avec des gardians faisant office de cow-boys et des Gitans en guise de Mexicains, le film met en vedette Johnny Hallyday dans un rôle comme en offre Hollywood à la même époque à Elvis Presley, à savoir un scénario convenu prétexte à glisser çà et là quelques chansons. Johnny chanteur-acteur en interprète trois en solo et une en duo avec Sylvie Vartan.
Synopsis
Johnny Rivière est un jeune Parisien au cœur pur, passionné de rock'n'roll. Le sous-sol d'un bar lui sert de salle de répétition, à lui et à ses musiciens, en échange de menus services qu'il rend au patron, M. Franck. Lorsqu'il comprend qu'il est manipulé par des truands, il se révolte et jette à la Seine un chargement de drogue qu'il était chargé de convoyer à son insu. Menacé de mort, il part se réfugier auprès des siens en Camargue, bientôt rejoint par sa fiancée Gigi mais aussi traqué par les malfrats qui se sont lancés à ses trousses. D'où bagarres, chevauchées, amour et chansons… et inévitable dénouement heureux.Actors

Set in turn-of-the-20th century Paris, the film opens with Honoré Lachaille (Maurice Chevalier) among high society in the Bois de Boulogne. A charming old roué, he cynically remarks that "Like everywhere else, most people in Paris get married, but not all. There are some who will not marry, and some who do not marry. But in Paris, those who will not marry are usually men, and those who do not marry are usually women." So marriage is not the only option for wealthy young bon vivants like his nephew Gaston (Louis Jourdan), who is bored with life. The one thing Gaston truly enjoys is spending time with Madame Alvarez (Hermione Gingold), whom he calls Mamita, and especially her granddaughter, the precocious, carefree Gilberte, aka Gigi who is 15 (Leslie Caron). Following the family tradition, Madame Alvarez sends Gigi to her sister, Great Aunt Alicia (Isabel Jeans), to be groomed as a courtesan and learn etiquette and charm. To Alicia, love is an art, and a necessary accomplishment for Gigi's social and economic future. But Gigi, shows disdain for such trivial love that a man and his mistress usually has. Remaining true to her girlish, yet charming personality, she finds herself having the most fun when with Gaston (35) whom she regards as an older brother.

Louis, un ouvrier maçon rémunéré à la tâche, fait constamment des heures supplémentaires pour apporter à sa famille qui habite une HLM de Martigues le confort auquel chacun aspire. In 1916, Tsar Nicholas II hosts a ball at the Catherine Palace to celebrate the Romanov tricentennial. His mother, the Dowager Empress Marie Feodorovna, is visiting from Paris and gives a music box and a necklace inscribed with the words “Together in Paris” as parting gifts to her youngest granddaughter, eight-year-old Grand Duchess Anastasia. The ball is suddenly interrupted by the sorcerer Grigori Rasputin, the former royal advisor of the Romanovs until he was banished by Nicholas II for treason. In retaliation, Rasputin sells his soul in exchange for an unholy reliquary, which he uses to place a curse on the Romanov family, sparking the Russian Revolution. Only Marie and Anastasia are able to escape the ensuing siege of the palace, thanks to a young servant boy named Dimitri who shows them a secret passageway in Anastasia's room. Rasputin confronts the two royals outside, only to fall through the ice and freeze to death. The pair manage to reach a moving train, but only Marie climbs aboard while Anastasia falls, hitting her head on the platform.
