Dost (Telugu: దోస్త్; translation: Friend) is a 2004 Telugu film produced by N Radhakrishna Reddy under banner N.R.K. Cinemas, directed by Muppalaneni Siva. Siva Balaji, K. Viswanath, Suhasini and Neha play the lead with the support cast of Brahmanandam, M. S. Narayana, Tanikella Bharani, Venu Madhav, Ali, Hema, Shankar Melkote, Raghu Babu, Mohana, Srikar Babu and Karthik. The music was composed by Koti. The film was a remake of Malayalam film Nammal.

Kamesh (Allari Naresh) and his wife (Hema) become the proud parents of a dynamic and powerful new baby who is born with a six pack body. Just when the baby is born, Thikkal Reddy (Jaya Prakash Reddy) comes in as the villain in search of his enemy who runs into New Born Baby's room. He prays to god to save him and hides in the room. Pundarika Ranganathudu (Nandamuri Balakrishna) is a follower of Lord Krishna (Nandamuri Balakrishna) but for the wrong reasons and does not listen to his father (K.Vishwanath) and his mother. He does all the mischievous things that Lord Krishna did in his reign. Once when his family members ask him to marry he leaves his village and runs away. After his family members perform a yagnam he comes back to his village. In the neighboring village Lakshmi (Sneha) is a big devotee of Lord Krishna. One night Lord Krishna appears in her dreams and asks her to marry Pundarika. So Lakshmi's father approaches Pundarika but he refuses. Later, after some persuasion from Lakshmi, Pundarika accepts the marriage. Meanwhile a dancer Amrutha (Tabu) comes to their village. Pundarika is mesmerized by her beauty and gets into a relationship with her. He offers all the gold in his house to her. But, after the marriage, he stops visiting Amrutha. Knowing this Amrutha's mother calls Pundarika for a meal and serves kala kuta rasayanam, which makes him violent at a small sound and grabs all his wealth. Then he lands in an unknown place where he kicks a saint (Mohan Babu) and is cursed. The rest of the film is about how Pundarika returns backs to his family and becomes a devotee of Lord Krishna.

Raja (Venkatesh) and his friend Balu (Sudhakar) are petty thieves. One day they steal an idol of Lord Ganesha from a temple, while escaping from the police they hide in a house, Anjali (Soundarya) who is a governess in that house taking care of three children when remaining all went out of station. She locks them in her kitchen for one week, that one week association with Anjali changes the entire lifestyle of Raja, he starts a new life and slowly falls in love with Anjali. Sandade Sandadi is a family drama based movie in which, Three friends Chandu / Chandra Sekhar (Jagapathi Babu), Balu / Balasubramanyam (Rajendra Prasad), Kamesh (Sivaji) vexed with their wives Lakshmi, Divya, Priya (Urvasi, Raasi & Sanghavi respectively) decide to take a mass suicide. Raghavendra (Venkatesh), Vishnu (Srikanth), Chinna (Siva Balaji) and Vamsi (Sharwanand) are brothers. Raghavendra and Padma (Arti Agarwal) fall in love and they are relatives as well.
