Synopsis
L'inspecteur Zenigata est retiré de l'affaire Lupin et est chargé de démanteler une organisation criminelle, Shotshell. Lupin et sa bande se joignent à lui, et volent un sous-marin nucléaire afin de d'attirer la Shotshell intéressée par ce sous-marin, et enlève une physicienne nommée Karen Korinsky, qui semble connaitre Jigen.Actors

Lorsque le roi de la pègre de Hong Kong, Chin Chin Chu, tente d'engager Lupin, Jigen et Fujiko pour récupérer la statuette d'un dragon perdue dans l'épave du Titanic, l'intérêt du cambrioleur est immédiatement éveillé. En effet, il s'agit de la même statuette que son grand-père avait essayé de dérober juste avant le naufrage du Titanic. Décidant de relever le défi et de faire mieux que son ancêtre, Lupin refuse l'offre de Chin et entreprend de retrouver lui-même le précieux trésor. Mais la tâche ne sera pas facile : entre les requins qui gardent l'épave, les assassins ninjas à la solde de Chin et un adversaire plus redoutable encore qui connaît Lupin mieux que quiconque, la statuette est bien protégée. Sans compter Zenigata, plus déterminé que jamais à arrêter son cambrioleur préféré.

Inspector Zenigata travels to Castle Dracula to confirm reports of the execution of his long-time nemesis, Arsène Lupin III. However, the body he finds is a decoy that is being used by another Lupin to escape from the castle. Zenigata travels to Egypt, believing that Lupin will raid the Pyramids based on prior thefts of reputed immortality-granting objects. His prediction proves accurate, but Lupin and his partners Daisuke Jigen and Goemon Ishikawa XIII escape with the Philosopher's Stone. The Stone was requested by Lupin's associate and on-off lover, Fujiko Mine, who, having agreed to obtain the Stone for a mysterious client, steals it from Lupin in Paris. The benefactor reveals his name to her as Mamo, but they discover that the Stone is a fake made by Lupin.

L'Île dérivante, la nouvelle île au trésor visée par Lupin et sa bande, abriterait le trésor national du royaume du Zufu, aujourd'hui sous la coupe du régime dictatorial du général Kubikari.
