Synopsis
Le proviseur du lycée Manseh espère que son équipe de Taekwondo, autrefois très réputée, brillera aux qualifications pour le championnat national. Or les élèves se font démolir par une bande de voyous quelques jours avant la compétition ! Il ne reste plus qu'une solution : que les membres du gang prennent la place des élèves immobilisés. Pi Shao Ting (also 四毛) is the son of a director. He is a student in Hong Kong High School. He falls in love with principal's granddaughter Anne, which makes her boyfriend Tie Ying angry. He often bullies Pi Shao Ting. Thus, Pi Shao Ting determines to date Anne in order to provoke him. However, Tie Ying has the right to punish every student. Later, Pi Shao Ting's father is required to travel to the Mainland with his wife and children (including Pi Shao Ting) due to work commitments as a director. There Pi Shaoting meets Shaolin kid, and is trained to learn Martial arts in the Shaolin Temple. Having returned to Hong Kong, one day he goes to the principal's office. He happens to hear a dialogue about conspiracy between the father and his son. Afterwards, the principal sees through their trick and withdraws his duties. However, dismissed as principal, he plans to kidnap Anne to force the principal to give uu his power. With the help of Shaolin kid and Pi Shao Ting, Anne and his grandfather get out of danger. Pi Shao Ting, for a long time, thinks that he loves Anne. At last, he realizes that the girl he really loves is Zhen Zhu (珍珠）, the girl who is always accompanying him.

In 1996, psychopathic career criminal Simon Phoenix kidnaps a number of hostages and takes refuge with his gang in an abandoned building. LAPD Sgt. John Spartan uses a thermal scan of the building and finds no trace of the hostages, and leads an unauthorized assault to capture Phoenix. When he is captured, Phoenix sets off a series of explosives that bring down the building, and when the police search the wreckage, they find the corpses of the hostages. Spartan is charged with manslaughter, and he is incarcerated along with Phoenix in the city's new "California Cryo-Penitentiary", where they will be cryogenically frozen. During their time "in deep freeze", they are to be rehabilitated through subconscious conditioning.

A ship sailing in the pre-First Opium War South China Sea is attacked by pirates and five British maidens on board are kidnapped. They are sold to a brothel run by Chao (Hsieh Wang), starting to get trained in sexual techniques for the day when they shall be auctioned. Ka-Kui is the "supercop" of the Hong Kong police, with amazing martial arts skills. Lau Kar Leung is the current teacher of a kung fu school in Hong Kong, however it is the 80’s and people are not interested in "old school" kung fu anymore. He receives a letter telling him to pick up the schools boss from the airport which much to his surprise is Kara Hui. Kara is the daughter of the schools master, thus making her the "de facto" boss. She is very much Americanized and begins making changes at the school and taking in students off the street, discos, and bars, which angers the traditionalist Lau Kar Leung. Eventually Kara gets in trouble with a local gang headed up by Wang Lung Wei, and after provoking a fight at bar owned by Wang, Lau Kar Leung is forced to rescue her and teach Wang Lung Wei and his thugs a slight lesson. This forces Wang to retaliate until a fight breaks out in a local gym in which Wang Lung Wei is defeated and Kara eventually returns to the U.S. after realizing Lau should be in charge of the school.
