Synopsis
Un diable apparaît dans un nuage de fumée derrière une casserole géante dans une cheminée. Il entame une sarabande autour de celle-ci, allumant le feu au bois sous la casserole à l'aide de sa fourche puis l'attisant grâce à un grand soufflet décroché du mur. Une apparition apparaît dans la casserole pendant qu'il attise le feu. La casserole disparaît et l'apparition, la flamme vivante Ayesha, se met à danser sur le bois, causant beaucoup de fumée avant de disparaître à son tour.Actors

At a meeting of the Astronomic Club, its president, Professor Barbenfouillis, proposes a trip to the Moon. After addressing some dissent, five other brave astronomers—Nostradamus, Alcofrisbas, Omega, Micromegas, and Parafaragaramus—agree to the plan. They build a space capsule in the shape of a bullet, and a huge cannon to shoot it into space. The astronomers embark and their capsule is fired from the cannon with the help of "marines", most of whom are played by a bevy of young women in sailors' outfits. The Man in the Moon watches the capsule as it approaches, and it hits him in the eye.

The film opens with a large bat flying into a medieval castle. The bat circles the room, before suddenly changing into Mephistopheles, an incarnation of the Devil. Mephistopheles produces a cauldron and an assistant, who helps him conjure a woman from the cauldron.

Puis il écrase le gros homme, qui explose comme un pet-de-loup, les membres disloqués, avant de reprendre sa forme initiale.

Anthony the Great's devotions in a cave are disrupted by the sudden appearance of a young maiden who he banishes and returns to his prayer book. Two maidens then appear either side of him only to be quickly banished. The saint kisses a skull relic only for it to transform into a third woman, who is rejoined by the others to form encircle him before vanishing. The saint kneels before an image of Christ on the cross only for this to transform into one of the maidens. He is finally saved by the appearance of an angel who returns all to normal.
