Até que a Sbórnia nos Separe (Portuguese for Til Sbornia Do Us Part) is a 2013 Brazilian animated dark comedy film directed by Otto Guerra and Ennio Torresan Jr, based on the play "Tangos & Tragédias", presented on stage since 1984. The creators of the play, Nico Nicolaiewsky and Hique Gomez, are credited for the voice of some characters and the movie soundtrack.

The film follows the consequences of the accidental fall of the wall that separates a small country called Sbórnia from the rest of the world, and the culture shock that the protagonists, Kraunus and Pletskaya will face.

Synopsis

Sbórnia is a small country that has always been isolated from the rest of the world, surrounded by a large wall that does not allow its contact with the neighbors. One day, however, an accident leads to the fall of the wall, and later the sbornians begin to discover the modern customs. Two local musicians, Kraunus and Pletskaya, observe the reactions of their countrymen: while some quickly adopt foreign culture, others prefer to reaffirm the sbornians traditions and resist imperialism.

In the Pride Lands of Africa, a lion rules over the animals as king. The birth of King Mufasa and Queen Sarabi's son Simba creates envy and resentment in Mufasa's younger brother, Scar, who knows his nephew now replaces him as heir to the throne. After Simba has grown into a young cub, Mufasa gives him a tour of the Pride Lands, teaching him the responsibilities of being a king and the circle of life. Later that day, Scar tricks Simba and his best friend Nala into exploring a forbidden elephant graveyard, despite the protests of Mufasa's hornbill majordomo Zazu. At the graveyard, three spotted hyenas named Shenzi, Banzai and Ed attack the cubs before Mufasa, alerted by Zazu, rescues them and forgives Simba for his actions. That night, the hyenas, who are allied with Scar, plot with him to kill Mufasa and Simba.

In Edwardian London, Professor Henry Higgins (Rex Harrison), a scholar of phonetics, believes that the accent and tone of one's voice determines a person's prospects in society. In Covent Garden one evening he boasts to a new acquaintance, Colonel Hugh Pickering (Wilfrid Hyde-White), himself an expert in phonetics, that he could teach any person to speak in a way that he could pass them off as a duke or duchess at an embassy ball. Higgins selects as an example a young flower seller, Eliza Doolittle (Audrey Hepburn), who has a strong Cockney accent. Eliza's ambition is to work in a flower shop, but her thick accent makes her unsuitable. Having come from India to meet Higgins, Pickering is invited to stay with the professor. The following morning, Eliza shows up at Higgins' home, seeking lessons. Pickering is intrigued and offers to cover all expenses if the experiment should be successful.
