Diane Mary Craig (born 9 June 1949) is an actress born in County Down, Northern Ireland but who is best known for her performances on Australian television. She is married to Australian actor and comedian Garry McDonald.
Biography
She attended the prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA), but left after a year to star in the British Australian feature film Ned Kelly alongside Mick Jagger.
As well as playing two roles in the cult series Prisoner – Jacki Nolan in 1980 and Anita Selby in 1985 – she has made appearances in Division 4, Cop Shop, The Restless Years, Out of the Blue, The Young Doctors, Bellamy, Taurus Rising, The Henderson Kids, Family and Friends, Chances, E Street, (replacing actress Penny Cook as Dr. Elly Fielding) Home and Away, Heartbreak High and the Australian-filmed 1988 revival of Mission: Impossible.
Craig also appeared in Underbelly: A Tale of Two Cities as Barbara Mackay.
