Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Jr. (born 20 May 1983), widely known as Jr. NTR is an Indian film actor, known for his work exclusively in Telugu cinema, and an accomplished Kuchipudi dancer. He is the grandson of veteran Telugu actor and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N. T. Rama Rao. In 1996, he starred as a child artist in Ramayanam, which won the National Film Award for Best Children's Film for that year. He achieved his breakthrough with the blockbuster film Student No.1. He is famous for his roles in successful films such as Aadi (2002), Simhadri (2003),Yamadonga (2007), Adhurs (2010), Brindavanam (2010), Baadshah (2013) and Temper (2015).
In his film career, Jr. NTR has worked in twenty seven films till date, two as child artist & one as cameo and twenty four as a lead actor. He has won two state Nandi Awards, one Filmfare Best Telugu Actor Award and three CineMAA Awards. Other than films he is the brand ambassador for several brands such as Malabar Gold, Himani Navratna Hair Oil and Zandu Balm in Andhra Pradesh. He was listed 66th in Forbes India top 100 Celebrities for 2012 with an annual income of ₹19Crore(US$3.042 Million). Jr. NTR is also involved in politics and is currently an active member of his paternal grandfather's political party, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).
Jr. NTR married Narne Lakshmi Pranathi, the daughter of Narne Srinivasa Rao, the owner of the Telugu news channel Studio N and a relative of Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on 5 May 2011 at Hitex Exhibition Center, Madhapur. They have one son, Abhay Ram.

He is the half-brother of actor and producer, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, the nephew of actor and politician Nandamuri Balakrishna and politician and current Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, and the cousin of actor Taraka Ratna and politician Nara Lokesh.Jr. NTR married Narne Lakshmi Pranathi, the daughter of Narne Srinivasa Rao, the owner of the Telugu news channel Studio N and a relative of Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on 5 May 2011 at Hitex Exhibition Center, Madhapur. Daya is an orphan who grows up learning that a police's life is a happy one with lots of money coming in the form of bribes which inspires him to become a police officer. Karthik(Jr. NTR) returns to India after completing his graduation in the United States and his mother(Jayasudha) decides to get him married to her brother Dhanunjay's(Sayaji Shinde) daughter Indu(Samantha Ruth Prabhu). When Karthik's father(Nassar) goes to Dhanunjay's house to ask the same, he gets insulted. Dhanunjay plans to be a Mayor and Karthik decides to teach him a lesson and marry his daughter. Sadhu Bhai (Kelly Dorji) is a notorious mafia leader who escaped India after various terrorist attacks and conquered the underworld of the entire southeast Asia, and no one dares to challenge Sadhu Bhai. Nagabhushanam (Mukesh Rishi) escapes a murder attempt from two assassins (Ajay & Bharani) at Coorg who later threaten him to kill soon. The story shifts to Hyderabad where Nandu (N. T. Rama Rao Jr.), a lonely college student lives. He spends his time with his friends and happens to fall in love in first sight with a girl named Akarsha (Samantha) who stays with her grandmother Baby Shalini (Rohini Hattangadi). With his wits and tactics he tries to make Akarsha fall in love with him and succeeds after a brief time. Nandu accompanies Akarsha to her sister's marriage in her hometown and by then, Nandu is treated as a family friend by Akarsha's family. That night, Nagabhushanam is killed by Nandu and those two assassins who happen to be a team. It is shown later that Nandu used Akarsha as a bait to reach Nagabhushanam to kill him.

Siddharth Naayak kills Central Minister Rawat's brother, Taxi Seth, and his henchmen in order to save three men. Rawat orders a CBI Officer to catch the criminal so that he may be executed. In CgTrix, Hyderabad there works a software engineer, Cherry, who is a dead ringer for Siddharth. Cherry's uncle Jilebi, the CEO of CgTrix, unexpectedly runs into trouble, angering the local Don, Babji. Cherry saves Jilebi from Babji by manipulation, but in the process becomes romantically interested in Babji's sister, Madhu. After Cherry saves several children from a mafia don, Madhu reciprocates his love. This angers Babji and he goes to kill Cherry, but is shocked when he sees what he thinks is Cherry assassinating the DGP of West Bengal. The CBI Officer also misunderstands, believing that Cherry is responsible for the two murders, although Siddharth is the real murderer. With Jilebi, the CBI Officer goes to Kumbh Mela at Varanasi in pursuit of Cherry. As Rawat is offering holy rituals, the CBI Officer catches Cherry and holds him, however Siddharth rises from the Ganges and stabs Rawat with a trident, after which he fights with all of Rawat's guards. As he is about to kill Rawat, the CBI Officer attacks him with a taser and arrests him, thereby exonerating Cherry.

Rama Chandra (NTR Jr) is an orphan who leads a simple life along with his friend (played by Ali). He falls in love with Sathya (Trisha Krishnan), who is a very rich girl. Vexed with the violence Rama Chandra kills Nasser's two sons and opens eyes of Nasser by placing a sword on Nasser's third son. In climax, Nasser realises that he was wrong and apologizes to all. Rama Chandra becomes the hero of the village.

Tony (N. T. Rama Rao Jr) does anything for money. When Tony went to Kashmir he met a young girl named Niharika (Tamannaah) while being kidnapped by terrorists. He falls in love with her and then rescues her. But Tony found out that Niharika was already engaged to Rakesh. Rakesh is a goon (and the minister's son) but Niharika doesn't know that. When Niharika found out that he was a goon, she dumped him. And she also came to know that she is in love with Tony. Later on Tony kills Rakesh and captures his son DSP Jr.(Sai). Later on when Tony, Niharika, and Chitra (Payal Ghosh) go to the temple, Chitra sees Tony killing someone. And then there is a flashback about how he and Niharika met before but she lost her memory. That happened because Niharika's brother was an undercover cop and when goons found out they killed the whole family. The only one who survived was Niharika but she had a bullet in her head. The doctors said that she would lose her memory soon. So, she tells Tony to kill the people who killed her family because she had seen Tony beating up a bunch of people. In the end tony kills all the goons who killed Niharika's family.

Aishwarya (Ileana D'Cruz) is the daughter of central union home minister Raya (Prabhu Ganesan). Due to some reason, he doesn't allow his daughter to go on a trip with friends. She nonetheless goes to the trip. She then meets a guide, Shakti (Jr. NTR), who takes the group on a trip to several places. At first, she hates him because he uses every chance to get money from her. But when he saves her, she starts liking him. Afterwards, a few people who are chasing her finally find her in Haridwar and try to kill Shakti as he hurt'd them earlier. Their plan fails as Shakti turns out to be a Secret Agent and defends himself and catches the main person in this plan. When Aishwarya goes back to her father, he forgives her and asks whether she had taken a box in which there is a diamond. When she replies in the negative, he says that it is more important than his own daughter. Later, when Shakti goes to a temple, the diamond box falls off a basket his mother brought with flowers on top of it. They inform Mahadevaya who asks them to immediately come to Humpy with the box and Aishwarya. Their travel is blocked by a strong man who is then defeated by Shakti. He then kills one more person who tries to grab the box. Then Mahadeva Raya and a Swami (Nassar) come to him and then the flashback is revealed.
