Nicholas Brown is an Australian actor, singer, songwriter, and screenwriter. He is an acting graduate from Australia’s National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA – the same acting school that produced Mel Gibson, Cate Blanchett and Baz Luhrmann).

Brown divides his time working between LA, Mumbai and Sydney.

Biography

Brown grew up in the Western Sydney suburb of Greysteins with parents Roy and Patricia Brown and older sister Tracey. He attended Newtown High School of the Performing Arts in years 11 and 12 as an auditioned drama student. Whilst at NHSPA he represented the school in various drama and music festivals including OnStage and School Spectacular and was elected School Captain in 1997.

In 1998 Brown was accepted into the prestigious Australian drama school the National Institute of Dramatic Art and was said to be both one of the youngest students and the first student to be accepted directly from high school.

In 2010 Brown was a Cleo Bachelor of the Year nominee.

Jai (Hrithik Roshan) is a dance teacher in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a sideline, he marries immigrant women to get them green cards. When Gina (Kangna Ranaut), the rich daughter of a powerful casino owner Bob (Kabir Bedi), falls for him, Jai goes along to marry into money. He discovers that his future brother-in-law, the vicious, homicidal Tony (Nicholas Brown), is about to marry a Mexican woman named Natasha (Bárbara Mori), whom Jai knows as Linda, the last of the immigrant women he married. On the night before "Natasha" and Tony's wedding, Linda and Jai spend a romantic but chaste night, humorously agreeing to a "divorce". A jealous, gun-wielding Tony arrives at her apartment while Jai is there. After he hits her, Linda impulsively knocks him out with a heavy object while he tussles with Jai. Linda and Jai go on the run toward Mexico, with Tony and police in pursuit. They are helped by a friend of Jai, Robin (Anand Tiwari). Robin gives them fake passports and IDs so that they can go wherever they want.
