Suhasini Mulay (born 20 November 1950) is an Indian actress in Bollywood and Marathi films as well as television. She won National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1999, for her performance in Gulzar's film Hu Tu Tu.

Suhasini Mulay is used to living alone. She was in a long live-in relationship that ended in 1990. On 16 January 2011 she got married at Arya Samaj to a physicist, Prof. Atul Gurtu.

Madhavi Sharma (Konkona Sen Sharma) arrives in Mumbai and soon lands a journalist job. Her boss Deepak Suri (Boman Irani) gives her the task of reporting celebrity news. When she tells him that she is pregnant with his baby, he suggests she have an abortion. Depressed and shattered, she unsuccessfully tries to commit suicide and, in the process, loses her unborn child. Meanwhile, Pearl marries a wealthy old man and moves to the United States. Madhavi plans to expose Rohit by writing an article on his relationship with Gayatri, but her editor kills the article, and she is forced to apologise to Rohit.

The movie starts with a TV crew interviewing Prof. Tiwari (Pankaj Kapur) about the events that had occurred in reference to the movie shootouts and eradication of organized crime in Lucknow and surrounding areas. Since a young age, Ajay Kumar (Arshad Warsi) has been traumatized by the death of his army officer father, who killed himself with his service revolver when accused of being a deserter, leaving his widow Prabha (Suhasini Mulay) to bring up Ajay on her own. Ajay grows up, studies hard and successfully becomes an Indian Police Service officer with the title of Senior Superintendent of Police of Lucknow. Due to his honesty, he gets transferred to various states in India, around 14 times in eight years. At his new posting in Uttar Pradesh, he comes to terms with a new criminal boss and ruthless killer, Gajraj Singh (Sushant Singh). Ajay engineers the setting up of a Special Task Force to deal with Gajraj. However, he also runs into problems as Gajraj is politically well-connected. Gajraj continues to elude the Task Force, using more modern technology such as the use of cell phones. But the Task Force recovers and is able to monitor Gajraj's cell phones with the help of Prof. Tiwari. They find out that Gajraj is planning to contest the elections and if he wins, no police officer of any rank, even the Task Force, would then dare to arrest him or even consider him a suspect, which may well result in the Task Force being mere paper tigers. They have a final confrontation inside a train which leaves from Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station. All the officers in the Task Force as well as members of Gajraj's gang kill each other in the fight, leaving Prof. Tiwari as the only witness.

After the mysterious disappearance of her maid, butler, and gardener, Mrs. Sandra Williams, the wife of Major Frank, who lives in a palatial house with two children, Sara and David, writes a letter to the local employment agency to get replacements. Martha Pinto, a mute woman, and Edgar And Maria apply for these vacancies. Sandra hires her and also lets know that her children's eyes suffer from a condition that could cause them to be damaged by sunlight, hence the curtains are to be drawn at all times. Also she gets migraines by any loud noise, hence everyone must remain quiet, there is no electricity and all work must be done during the daytime, and the entire house is candle-lit. The staff gets busy with their work, and it is then Sarah tells her mom that she has noticed other people in the house that are visible to her only, and she draws the picture of a male, a female (his wife), their son, Vicky, and an elder woman with magical powers. Sandra disbelieves her, but when she starts feeling someone's presence in her house, as well as hearing noises, she decides to investigate. She finds out that the letter she had sent to the employment agency is still lying in the mailbox. She must now find out how Martha, Edgar and Maria came to know of the vacancies, and of the presence of an album with dead people's photos. Watch as events beyond her control unfold, leading her, Sara and David face to face with the other unseen people in this household.

Raj who has lost the love from Neha has to now gain her trust back and save her from the dangers that await her.
