Synopsis
La ville de Palmyre, dans l’est de la Syrie, est tombée aux mains du groupe terroriste Daesh. Ces derniers ont encerclé l’aéroport dans une ville voisine où de nombreux blessés et aussi les derniers défenseurs de l’aéroport attendent leur évacuation d’urgence. Un jeune pilote doit risquer sa vie et se rendre à l’aéroport pour aider à évacuer ces personnes alors qu’elles sont sous le feu direct de Daech. Une confrontation étroite avec les terroristes de Daesh détermine leur destin dans une tournure dramatique des événements.Actors

Ghasem (Hamid Farokhnezhad) with his wife, Narges (Leila Hatami), his mother and other relatives and parents take a flight to Bandar Abbas, Iran, to get hired in an industrial company. Since the conditions of work and life are hardly satisfactory, everyone accepts the invitation with pleasure. Narges (Leila Hatami) is the only one who knows the true intention of her husband. Once the plane takes off and flies in the sky, Ghasem (Hamid Farokhnezhad) out a gun, disarms sole custody in the plane, the pilot goal threat of hacking and requires a change of destination to Dubai. At a time when the attacker and his accomplices are concerned about a conflict between them, the second security guard, loop the pirate by surprise maneuver him out of the gun. As the plane takes its way to the destination country, new pirates succeed, a maneuver conducted by Narges (Leila Hatami) to grab the gun and redirect the plane to Dubai. Shortage of fuel, the plane ends up crashing into the water in the middle of nowhere.

Saeed, is an Iran–Iraq war victim who has headed to Germany for his eyesight treatment, comes across his sister, Leila, who has lived in Cologne with her husband and son, Jonas for many years. Saeed gets his sight back after the surgery and he is coped with the new and strange atmosphere around him. Saeed is getting ready to come back to Iran but everything goes wrong. Further examinations show that he suffers from leukemia. His disease has apparently resulted from chemical gases used in the war. When Saeed’s sister finds out about his disease, she tries to prevent any situation which will cause him stress, as the doctors advised. But Saeed becomes very ill when he watches the video of Iran’s leader Ayatollah Khomeini’s funeral which was recorded by his brother in law. So, they take him to the hospital and he dies there while doing chemotherapy. This happens while Saeed’s wife and his newly born baby are coming to Germany to meet him. The last scene of the film shows that the family of Saeed’s sister is going back to Iran with his wife.

Two veterans of Iran-Iraq war, Abbas and his wartime commander Kazem are the main protagonists of the film. Abbas comes to Tehran to seek medical treatment for a war injury. Kazem wants to help Abbas as the doctor recommends that he should go abroad for the operation. However, it is almost New Year's Eve, and arranging a flight becomes difficult. The problems they encounter make Kazem loose his temper, and he ends up taking a whole travel agency hostage.
