Mickey's Disguises is a 1933 short film in Larry Darmour's Mickey McGuire series starring a young Mickey Rooney. Directed by Jesse Duffy, the two-reel short was released to theaters on July 17, 1933 by RKO Radio Pictures.
Synopsis
After being accused of stealing chickens, Hambone's Uncle Nemo gets arrested. Mickey, Hambone, and the Gang believe that Nemo is innocent, and form a detective agency in order to catch the real thief. The kids suspect Mayor Davis' chauffeur; it's up to Billy (in a chicken costume) to catch the real crook.Actors

Mickey and the Gang help cheer up Jimmy, a little sick boy, by giving him a puppy that they found. Unknown to the kids, the puppy actually belongs to Stinkie Davis. Stinkie and his father make the kids pay $10.00 in order to make up for the stolen puppy. The kids build a big grinding organ, with Mickey acting as the organ grinder, and Billy acting as the monkey. Later, the kids put on a minstrel show in a local talent contest.

Mickey and the Gang are gearing up for a football game against Stinkey Davis and his pals. Because Mickey's team apparently have no chance of winning, they enlist the aid of college football coach Howard Jones for advice. Jealous, Stinkey decides to steal Mickey's clothes, dress up as him, and cause havoc in town. His plan manages to get Mickey stuck in a courtroom for the day and out of the game. It's up to Howard Jones and Mickey's pals to save the day.

Mickey and the Scorpions starts his own detective agency. Stinkie Davis kidnaps Mickey's Kid Brudder and hides him in a box headed for a science professor. Mickey and the gang catch up with Mickey's brother, but soon get into a fight with Stinkie and his pals. The kids use some of the Professor's bombs as ammunition; these bombs just so happen to contain chemicals similar to laughing gas, and they literally make the kids high as a kite. Stinkie finally throws a high explosive bomb, which lands in the mouth of Buster, the Scorpions' dog. The bomb is set to go off at a certain time of the day. Wanting to avoid getting blown up, the kids are forced to avoid Buster at all costs.
