Asuka Langley Soryu (en japonais : 惣流・アスカ・ラングレー ()) est l'un des personnages principaux de la série d'animation japonaise Neon Genesis Evangelion, de son film conclusif The End of Evangelion et de la tétralogie cinématographique Rebuild of Evangelion. Elle apparaît également dans les nombreuses adaptations en manga et jeu vidéo que la série a connu depuis sa création en 1995.

Asuka est une adolescente sûre d'elle et exubérante qui peut se montrer adorable comme très arrogante. Jeune fille surdouée, c'est une pilote exceptionnelle employée par l'organisation confidentielle NERV pour combattre des monstres appelés « Anges » avec l'Evangelion EVA-02, une arme ayant l'apparence d'un robot géant. Elle cache en réalité sous ses airs assurés une grande détresse mentale dû à des épisodes traumatisants de son enfance. Elle est très appréciée par les fans de la franchise.

Asuka Langley Shikinami and Mari Illustrious Makinami, pilots of giant Evangelion cyborgs, are sent into in space to retrieve a container in which Evangelion Unit 01 and its pilot Shinji Ikari are sealed. When Asuka grabs the container with her Evangelion unit, it releases attack drones. Unit 01 awakens and destroys the drones, then deactivates and descends back to Earth. Kaworu Nagisa watches and says he has been waiting for Shinji.
