Miguel Morayta (15 August 1907 – 19 June 2013) was a Spanish film director and screenwriter. He directed 74 films between 1944 and 1978. At the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War, Morayta was a Spanish artillery officer who joined the Republican side. After Franco's victory, he left Spain for France and Africa, finally arriving in Mexico in 1941, where he started his career. At the time of his death, he resided in Mexico. He died on 19 June 2013 at the age of 105.

Biography

Au déclenchement de la guerre civile espagnole, Morayta était un officier d'artillerie espagnol qui a rejoint le côté républicain. Après la victoire de Franco, il a quitté l'Espagne pour la France et l'Afrique, pour arriver finalement au Mexique en 1941.

Il a réalisé 74 films entre 1944 et 1978.
