Peter Spears is an American actor, writer and director. He was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. His directorial short film Ernest and Bertram attracted attention from the producers of Sesame Street for portraying Bert and Ernie as gay lovers. The film's producers also received a cease and desist order for copyright violations.
