The film revolves around the events that happen in a picturesque Kuttanadan village following the arrival of a young priest Vincent Vattolli (Indrajith Sukumaran). The film was released on 22 March 2013, receiving rave reviews from critics and huge response from theatres. The film was a commercial success at the box-office.
Synopsis
The plot revolves around the lives of few people around an ancient Syrian church in a Kuttanadan village called Kumarankari. Solomon (Fahadh Faasil) is in love with Shoshanna (Swathi Reddy) who is the daughter of a wealthy contractor. Solomon is the son of a band master who died after a show by drowning. Solomon is a failed band member. Here comes the entry of Fr. Vincent Vattoli (Indrajith) to the church. He learns about the relationship and tries to unite them. It was this time the marriage of Shoshanna gets fixed. Solomon attempts to elope with Shoshanna by taking the help of Fr. Vattoli but in vain. They are caught by their people and beaten up. The people then place a bet in which the Band is asked to win the band competition in which they lost in the previous years. It was said that Shoshanna would be married to Solomon if they win the competition with Solomon leading the band. The band takes intense practices and wins the bet. Solomon gets married to Shoshanna. The next day a call comes to the church informing that the new Priest Fr. Vincent Vattoli is taking charge. The Kumarangiri folks now come to know that Fr. Vincent Vattoli was actually the saint himself who appeared in front of them.Actors

Laila and Majnu are two precious stones, which has value only if they are together. It is now possessed by Don, in Goa, who tries to sell it, in order not to lose it to his son, Gabbar, whom he despises. Don approaches two lowly thugs, Pancho and Vinci and offers it for a price of ₹10 crores. They agree and ask for a week's time to arrange the money. Billy, who is Gabbar's man, comes to know of this and offers Pancho and Vinci ₹100 crores to buy it. Pancho and Vinci gets ₹5 crores from Blacky, which actually belongs to the Tarkovs ( the Russian mob in Goa). For the remaining ₹5 crores, they plan to rob the black money of Podiyadis (a local hawala gang in Kerala). While the deal happens, things get mixed up and lead to a big gang war between all the groups.

Anoop Chandran (Indrajith), is a famous writer and award winner. Prone to seeing future events that turn out to be real, one day Anoop sees his own death in a trance. He decides to write one final novel before death comes visiting. Anoop has a wife Meena(Sarayu), who never understands the writer in him. At the same time, Anoop is in love with dancer Gatha (Mamta Mohandas), with whom he shares a live-in relationship. Anoop always tells Gatha about his lost love Sathyabhama (Dhanya Mary Varghese), who was his lover in college. Excited about hearing Sathyabhama aka Bhama, Gatha wants to locate Bhama and goes to Anoop's tharavadu (ancestral house) with him. From there they go to Bhama's birthplace Vattakkulam to find Bhama. That place incidentally was the birthplace of Gatha's parents also. They returned, unsuccessful in finding Bhama. Gatha went to Kolkata for her dance performances while Anoop returned to Kerala. Three months later, Gatha got a call from Anoop. Gatha was shocked to hear that actually there was no girl as Bhama but was only an imaginary character created by Anoop for his final novel. Anoop was actually developing Bhama's story through Gatha. Anoop finally told Gatha that he sent the novel to Gatha and Gatha has the right to give it a title and publish and added that he is about to reach the end of his life, which he realised some time back. In the final scene, we see Anoop heading to some remote destination in the snow-clad mountains, to embrace his death.

Ivan Puhov (A. Abdulov) is in love with a very kind and friendly girl, Alyona (A. Yakovleva). The story revolves around Billy Bigelow, a rough-talking, macho, handsome carousel barker, and Julie Jordan, a young, innocent mill worker, both living their busy lives in the small town of Boothbay Harbor, Maine. They fall in love, but both are fired from their jobs for different reasons – Billy because he paid too much attention to Julie and incurred the wrath of the jealous carousel owner Mrs. Mullin, and Julie because she stayed out past the curfew imposed by the understanding but stern mill owner, Mr. Bascombe. Billy and Julie marry and go to live at the seaside spa of her cousin Nettie, but Billy becomes bitter because he is unable to find work, and in his frustration, strikes Julie (this moment is not shown at all in the film). Mrs. Mullin, the jealous carousel owner who is infatuated with him, hears of this and goes to Nettie's to offer Billy his old job back, but will not re-hire him unless he leaves his wife. Billy seems to be considering the idea when Julie asks to talk privately. Julie, fearing he will be enraged, timidly tells him she is pregnant. But Billy is overjoyed and now firmly refuses Mrs. Mullin's offer. However, newly worried about not having enough money to provide for his child, and unskilled at anything except being a carousel barker, Billy secretly agrees to join his pal Jigger Craigin in robbing the wealthy Bascombe.

In early Victorian England, Matthew Mugg (Anthony Newley) takes his young friend Tommy Stubbins (William Dix) to visit eccentric Doctor John Dolittle (Rex Harrison). Dolittle, a former physician, lives with an extended menagerie, including a chimpanzee named Chee-Chee (Cheeta), a dog named Jip, and a talking parrot named Polynesia (the uncredited voice of Ginny Tyler). Dolittle claims that he can talk to animals. In a flashback, he explains that he kept so many animals in his home that they created havoc with his human patients, who took their medical needs elsewhere. His sister, who served as his housekeeper, demanded that he dispose of the animals or she would leave; he chose the animals. Polynesia taught him that different animal species can talk to each other, prompting Dolittle to study animal languages so that he could become an animal doctor.
