Synopsis
Depuis qu'elle est orpheline de mère, la jeune Cendrillon est élevée par sa belle-mère qui, avec la complicité de sa fille, la maltraite en lui faisant faire seule les tâches ménagères les plus ingrates. Mais un matin, dans la forêt, Cendrillon rencontre un chasseur qui se révèle être le prince Victor. Ce dernier est à la recherche d'une épouse. Cendrillon est conviée à assister au bal donné par le prince. Elle parvient à ravir son cœur grâce à l'aide de sa marraine la fée, qui veille sur son destin.Actors

Baron von Rhoneberg (Jean Servais), a former World War II German general, sacrificed his daughter as the war ended. This condemned his family to be placed under a terrible curse. Many years later, he tells the story to a reporter who wishes to write an article about it and take pictures of his castle. However, the Baron is against any photographs. Despite his protests, the young woman goes up to visit the castle and take pictures but is killed when a dry thunderstorm suddenly rolls in while she is in close proximity to it. Her body is taken back to the town where it is discovered she has a burn in the shape of a lobster-like claw on her arm which is confirmed as the Mark of the Devil.

In the film, the poem by Lewis Carroll is read and a wardrobe is shown moving through a forest. The wardrobe contains a strange playroom inside that is watched over by an old man in a portrait. The film switches between images of dolls, toys in a nursery, and paper planes to images of dismembered dolls, maggot-infested vines, and a black cat knocking things over. The ending of the film contains an ink blob escaping from an occurring maze, freeing itself from life's constraints. It then defaces the image of the old man (the authority figure) and flees out of the window.
