Diamonds (German: Brillianten) is a 1920 German silent crime film directed by Friedrich Feher and starring Louis Ralph, Erika Glässner and Julius Brandt. A policeman goes undercover to unmask a customs officer as corrupt. Feher's direction was criticised for being too loose.

Dans les années 30, un trio de chanteurs ambulants composé du petit Gianinno, de sa mère et de son grand-père, accompagnés d'un funambule et de musiciens, arrivent dans un village d'Europe Centrale. L'auberge du village est tenue par un homme étrange, l'une de ses clientes est une cartomancienne réputée pour son avarice. Au cours d'un incendie, la cartomancienne se fait dérober son magot et porte plainte en laissant entendre que le voleur est le petit Gianinno. Celui-ci s'enfuit durant la nuit avec son orgue de Barbarie et son âne. Le vrai voleur, un certain "Diable Noir", ayant caché le butin à l'intérieur du piano du jeune garçon, se lance à sa poursuite à travers les Alpes.

Rod Tillman (Alaimo) is a stock car driver that is running out of money. He sells his trailer and hangs out at a swinging 1960s bar where he meets a group of bikers ( Pastrano, Vella, and Gillen) that call themselves "Satan's Angels". They realize Rod can drive the getaway car for their robberies and offer him a place in their gang. Despite making out with the lady in the group, Linda (Byers), Rod opts out. On his way back to the town of Citrusville, he gets recruited by Lieutenant Dorn (Walter Philbin) to go undercover amongst the bikers, who have thus far been able to outsmart the police due to their mobility on motorcycles. After the police fix a race to make it appear that Rod is in desperate need of money, the bikers agree to let him join the gang. He proves himself as a driver during a hold up at a gun shop where the owner is shot. Back at the hideout, Linda reveals that she doesn't commit these crimes for financial gain, but for the thrill of the action. During their next crime, a bank robbery, Rod signals to a passing officer while the gang is inside. A shooting spree ensues and the gang realizes Rod is a mole, forcing him to drive away at gunpoint. Several policemen are killed as they chase the gang to an old lighthouse. Banjo and Fats are killed and Rod tries to make a break by running up the spiral staircase of the lighthouse. Jeeter follows after him and corners him with a shotgun. A shot is heard, and it's revealed that Linda, having a change of heart about her life of crime, has saved the life of the wounded hero. Linda goes off to a life in prison and Rod walks into the sunset with Lieutenant Dorn.

La lecture du journal intime du docteur, retrouvé par son épouse Luisa, semble confirmer ses soupçons… Toutefois, Luisa, consciemment ou inconsciemment, engage Laurana dans un piège dont il ne sortira pas vivant. Rancher Taw Jackson (John Wayne) returns to his hometown to settle a score. Three years earlier, he was framed by corrupt businessman Frank Pierce (Bruce Cabot) and wrongfully imprisoned. Pierce did this to confiscate Jackson's land, where he had discovered gold. After his prison sentence was cut short for good behavior, Jackson returns to steal a shipment of gold from Pierce. He hires Lomax (Kirk Douglas) to assist him, even though he had worked as a hired gun for Pierce and was instrumental in sending him to prison. Jackson needs Lomax not only because of his marksmanship, but also because he is a safe-cracker. The gold shipment is being transported in a "war wagon," a heavily armored stagecoach armed with a deadly Gatling gun in a top-mounted steerable turret. Jackson and Lomax assemble a gang and plan to rob the war wagon at the weakest point in the route it travels.
