Add to a movie listDracula 2012 is a 2013 Malayalam 3-D feature film directed by Vinayan, starring Sudheer Sukumaran, Prabhu, Monal Gajjar, Nassar, Shraddha Das and Thilakan. Portions of the film were shot in Bran Castle in Romania. The film was released on 8 February 2013. The film was also released in Tamil as Naangam Pirai and in Telugu as Punnami Ratri with additional scenes and songs featuring Tamil and Telugu actors. The cost of the film in four languages, Malayalam, English, Tamil and Telugu was 7px 120 million.

The scene switches to Dracula's homeland (after a period of approximately a year), where the local villagers are enraged that yet another young woman has been murdered by the Count. In Los Angeles, California, realtor Jonathan Harker (Corey Landis), is an insecure neurotic who proposes the sale of an abandoned building in a bad, gang-dominated neighborhood for $12.5 million to his wealthy and sly client Count Dracula, posing as Vladimir Sarkany (Stuart Rigby). In 1462, Vlad Dracula, a member of the Order of the Dragon, returns from a victory against the Turks to find his wife, Elisabeta, has committed suicide after receiving a false report of his death. Enraged that his wife is now damned for committing suicide, Dracula desecrates his chapel and renounces God, declaring that he will rise from the grave to avenge Elisabeta with all the powers of darkness. In a fit of rage, he stabs the chapel's stone cross with his sword and drinks the blood which pours out of it.

A group of vampires look for the hidden resting place of Drake, also known as Dracula—the genetic "father" of their species.
