Émilie Jolie est un long métrage d'animation français réalisé par Francis Nielsen et Philippe Chatel, sorti au cinéma en France le 19 octobre 2011. Il s'agit d'une adaptation cinématographique du conte musical Émilie Jolie de Philippe Chatel. Le film emploie la technique du dessin animé en deux dimensions et reprend les chansons du conte musical.
Synopsis
C'est la veille de la rentrée et la petite Émilie Jolie s'inquiète à la perspective d'arriver dans sa nouvelle école. Pour lui changer les idées, sa mère lui offre un livre qu'elle-même lisait dans son enfance. Émilie, restée seule dans sa chambre, se plonge dans l'histoire de Gilbert le lapin bleu. Gilbert se fait enlever par une terrible sorcière et toutes les tentatives pour le retrouver restent vaines. Peu à peu l'histoire prend vie, et c'est Émilie elle-même, emmenée dans l'univers du livre par le grand oiseau, qui va devoir venir en aide à Gilbert.Actors

The realm is divided between a land of fairies and light, and a land of bog creatures living in the dark forest. Primrose flowers, which are a crucial ingredient to love potions, mark the border between the lands. Marianne is a fairy princess and heir to the throne of the Fairy Kingdom, and is engaged to be married to Roland, a handsome warrior who breaks her heart when she discovers him kissing another fairy on their wedding day. Scorned, Marianne vows to never fall in love again. Sometime later, her sister Dawn, who frequently says she is in love, is distraught regarding the upcoming Spring Ball over which boy she could meet there. Her best friend Sunny, an elf who has a crush on Dawn, tries to cheer her up with a song, but they are nearly devoured by a giant lizard before a hardened Marianne rescues them. Sunny, having fallen through the border of the dark forest, finds a Primrose petal, which he subsequently hides when fleeing the forest.

Long ago, a drop of sunlight became a golden flower capable of healing illness, decay and injury. For hundreds of years the flower is used by Mother Gothel to retain her youth until it is discovered by soldiers of a nearby kingdom. They use the flower to heal their ailing queen, who soon after gives birth to Princess Rapunzel. Gothel discovers that Rapunzel's hair has the flower's healing properties but that attempting to take just the hair by cutting it destroys its power, so she kidnaps Rapunzel and raises her as her own daughter in an isolated tower. Once a year, the King and Queen release sky lanterns on Rapunzel's birthday, hoping for their daughter's return.
