Marquis de Sade: Justine (Italian: Justine ovvero le disavventure della virtù) is a 1969 West German-Italian film directed by Jesús Franco. The film is based on Justine by the Marquis de Sade. The film is set in 1700s France where Justine (Romina Power) and her sister Juliet (Maria Rohm) are orphans in Paris. Juliet becomes a prostitute and marries a rich noble. Justine is falsely arrested and sentenced to death. Justine escapes from prison to become a fugitive.
The film had Franco's largest budget to date, of just under a million dollars. Franco originally wanted to cast Rosemary Dexter as Justine, but was forced to cast Romina Power in the role, which led to Franco changing the story to suit her.

Plusieurs jeunes femmes sont incarcérées à El Castillo de la Muerte, une prison pour femmes au milieu de l'océan. Cette prison n'est pas tout à fait habituelle car elle est tenue par la directrice Thelma Diaz, une directrice sadique qui, avec le gouverneur de la région, le dénommé Santos, abusent sexuellement des prisonnières, particulièrement de l'une d'entre elles, le numéro 99, Marie. Mais un événement inattendu vient bouleverser la prison : l'État vient de nommer un nouveau ministre de la justice qui ouvre une enquête sur les décès suspects à la prison. Il décide d'envoyer sur place une jeune inspectrice, Leonie, chargée de lui faire un rapport ; celle-ci bouleverse la vie de la prison par sa gentillesse et son humanité envers les prisonnières dont Mary. Cette dernière a été jetée au cachot lorsqu'elle a voulu avertir les gardiens de la mort de l'une d'entre elles, Nathalie, décédée d'une péritonite suite à son mauvais traitement. Diaz et le gouverneur décident alors tendre un piège à Leonie... Pendant ce temps, Mary, libérée par Leonie, s'évade avec une autre captive, Rosalie, et l'amant de cette dernière. Mais ils sont aussitôt traqués dans la jungle hostile.

A couple of newlyweds, Olga and Michael, are traveling along the desert and accidentally trespass on the property of Magda Urtado (Ajita Wilson), who is the director of a boot camp of sorts, where the women are treated as slaves and are half naked at all times. Magda keeps Olga in captivity while Michael is free to go, but later on in the film he plans an escape for Olga. She goes to work with the other girls out in the hot desert, and the rest of the film is a series of subplots, including in which a few of the workers are sent out to be hookers, one where a worker participates in a deadly game of cat and mouse, and one where the impotent Governor (Antonio Mayans, billed as Robert Foster) buys a couple of the workers to help him perform. There is also a scene where the Governor is finally able to have sex with his wife, but only while watching one of the females being raped by a dog. Director Jess Franco also stars in the movie as an obviously gay man.

Ilsa (Dyanne Thorne) works as the warden in a psychiatric hospital for young women. Unbeknownst to her, patient Abby is actually the sister of Rosa, one of the hospital's other patients. Abby has lied in order to get herself admitted in order to find out what has become of her sister and to hopefully rescue her. However she is also unaware that Ilsa uses the hospital's inmates to create pornography, often against their will. Abby finds herself at the mercy of Juanna, Ilsa's lover and leader of several of the hospital's inmates. Juanna tries hard to make Abby respond to her advances, but soon begins to exploit Abby after she refuses to become Juanna's lover.

Une belle journée d'été, Maria Rosalia, 16 ans, folâtre avec une amie de 18 ans dans une forêt portugaise. Elles sont surprises par un membre du clergé, le père Vincent.
