Add to a movie listRasam (English: Taste) is a 2015 Malayalam-language Indian feature film based on food, tastes, restaurants and catering services. Directed and co-written by Rajeev Nath, produced under the banner of Group Ten Entertainments in association with Chaya Films. The screenplay is done by Nedumudi Venu, Rajeev Nath and Sudip Kumar, while story is written by Sudip. It stars Indrajith Sukumaran in lead role and Nedumudi Venu, Devan and Varuna Shetty in supporting roles. Mohanlal had a side role appearance as himself. The film was shot in Qatar and Dubai. Indrajith plays Balu who is reluctant to take is father's tradition of cooking.
The film takes place in Doha where Shekar Menon, a business tycoon arranges his daughter's wedding to be done in a traditional Kerala style feast. Superstar Mohanlal invites Valliyottu thirumeni to take up the catering for the wedding reception of the star's close friend Shekar Menon's daughter Janaki. Vasudevan, Balu and team fly to Dubai. But circumstances force Balu to take over from his father. As the name suggests, food forms the central character in the film.
The principal photography commenced on January 8, 2014 at Doha. Filming underway at the locations in Doha, Dubai, Qatar, Kochi, Ottapalam and Thiruvananthapuram. The film released in January 23, 2015 and failed to impress the critics.

Pakal Nakshatrangal tells the story of Siddharthan (Mohanlal), narrated by Siddharthan's son Adi (Anoop Menon) to his wife (Lakshmi Gopalaswamy)as the content of his new book. Aham is the story of Sidharthan (Mohanlal), who grew up in a disciplined and strict environment and tried to lead his family life in similar lines. Nanda (Revathi) is in love with a successful architect Narendaran (Mohan Lal), both of whom are living in Bangalore. They get engaged and are all set to marry when tragedy strikes. While they are talking on top of a construction building, Narendran accidentally slips and falls down, dying instantly. Depressed Nanda escorts Narendran's corpse to his homeland in Kerala. To her surprise she sees Narendran's twin brother Krishnan Unni (Mohan Lal), who looks exactly like Narendran. She thinks Narendran is not dead and everyone is trying to fool her. Narendran's parents want Nanda to marry Unni but he is already in love with Bhadra (Shobana). Bhadra tries to commit suicide and this shakes Nanda, Bhadra's dear friend, and Unni. Not wanting to be a burden on anyone and truly missing Narendran, Nanda commits suicide. Narendran's ghost, moments before Nanda's suicide, tells Unni that he is going to take Nanda with him to heaven since he really needs her, even in death. Unni is unsure if he just had an illusion, but to the viewers, it shown that Narendran's ghost was present and actually talking to Unni.

Saikumar plays the role of Prathapa Verma, a rich man in Dubai who has a son Manu (Bala) but also has an adulterous relation with a lady in Mumbai, Janet, with whom he has another son named Alexander (Mohanlal). In his will, he has bequeathed all his wealth to his son Alexander. If Alexander dies, then 40% of Prathapa Verma's wealth will go to his relatives (Siddique, K. B. Ganesh Kumar, etc.) and 30% goes to Manu, and 30% to a trust. If Manu dies, then 100% will go to the trust. So the relatives decide to kill him, while Manu decides to go and meet Alexander and power of attorney from him so that he can get all Verma's wealth, and then kill him or get rid of Alexander. But to their surprise, Alexander is in mental rehabilitation center under the treatment of Dr. Korah (Nedumudi Venu). Eventually, over time, Manu realizes that his brother has unique abilities, which he grows to accept. He starts becoming fond of his half-brother. The story then progresses to show how Manu brings Alexander to Dubai. After reaching Dubai, the struggles that Alexander faces form the rest of the story.
