Its original title was Ercole, Sansone, Maciste e Ursus gli invincibili (Hercules, Samson, Maciste, and Ursus: the Invincibles). It is also known as Samson and the Mighty Challenge, Combate dei Gigantes, Triumph of the Giants or Le Grand Defi.
Synopsis
Hercules argues with his father Zeus who thinks that his son should follow the road of virtue. Instead, Hercules follows the road of pleasure which leads him to the city of Lydia. There he falls in love with the princess Omphale and he asks from her mother Nemea permission to marry her. Although Nemea is thrilled with the idea of having a demigod as a husband for her daughter, Omphale doesn't even want to hear about it because she is in love with Inor the barbarian prince. So the couple crafts a cunning plan.Actors

Hercules saves a woman named Telca from a lion and arrives in triumph in her village. Telca's father King Tedaeo offers Hercules Telca's hand in marriage, if he brings back the tooth of a dragon. Hercules seeks help from a witch who gives him a spear that will kill the dragon but wants the same tooth as her reward. As Hercules has promised the tooth to King Tedaeo the witch warns him that the magic of the tooth will only work once.

While Hercules (Mickey Hargitay) is away, his village is plundered and his wife is killed by the army of Ecalia as the first part of a scheme by the treacherous Licos (Massimo Serato) to gain the throne of Ecalia for himself. Licos plans that Hercules will come to Ecalia for vengeance and murders the King himself to save Ecalia from his revenge. Hercules learns of the murder of his wife and seeks vengeance, but is thwarted when the King's daughter and heir to the throne Queen Deianira offers herself rather than her realm of Ecalia as the guilty party. In accordance with the law Deianira must face the wrath of Hercules; she is bound to a wall as Hercules throws axes at her that miss Deianira proving her innocence in the eyes of the gods.

Hercules is reached by the slave Daria, who informes him that his country has fallen into the hands of the tyrant Meniste. Hercules follows Daria in his homeland, where he discovers that Meniste enslaves the citizens of the city, and that a group of rebels are trying an insurrection. Meniste fears the power of Hercules, however he kills Daria. So Hercules puts himself in charge of the band of rebels, and destroys the power of Meniste.

Le colosse Ursus, de retour chez lui après avoir livré bataille, découvre que sa fiancée Attea a été déportée sur une île lointaine par des prêtres païens. Il part à sa recherche avec Doreide, une esclave aveugle qui devine qu'Attea a été enlevée par Setas, un ancien ami d'Ursus. Ce dernier se met en travers de leur chemin et capture Ursus qui arrive à briser ses liens et réussit à s'enfuir avec Doreide. Ils rencontrent la belle courtisane Magali qui se propose de les aider à traverser une zone désertique. Magali essaie de séduire Ursus et, ulcérée par son refus, tente de le piéger avec la complicité de Setas, mais elle meurt dans leur affrontement dont Ursus et Doreide sortent victorieux. Le couple arrive enfin dans l'île et découvre qu'Attea, soumise à l'emprise maléfique de Setas, est devenue la malfaisante prêtresse de l'île. Ursus essaie sans succès de la soustraire au pouvoir occulte de Setas et se retrouve dans une arène pour combattre un monstrueux taureau qu'il finit par tuer. Ursus dresse alors une révolte au cours de laquelle Attea et Setas trouvent la mort tandis que Doreide recouvre la vue à la suite d'une violente commotion. Elle s'embarque avec Ursus sur le chemin du retour.

In ancient Greece, a race of evil aliens from the Moon land on Earth. Hercules is called upon to fight seven golden giants summoned by the Dagger of Jae, sister of Juno (Hera), who dislikes Hercules "for certain family reasons." Hercules also fights to protect his princess love, but matters are complicated by her evil relative Milo, who has murdered her father the king but has tricked her into thinking it was someone else because she trusts him too much. Milo tricks Hercules into killing his friend, for which he is punished by his father Jove (Jupiter/Zeus) who takes away his enormous strength, because he has misused it. Milo is conspiring with his sorceress mother to take the throne for himself.

La cité grecque d'Argos est victime d'un coup d'État ourdi par le tyrannique Acrisios, assisté de son complice Galenore. Le jeune Persée, héritier légitime du trône, ignore encore ses origines : il mène la vie d'un pâtre, bientôt amoureux d'Andromède, mais Acrisios l'enlève. Persée accourt jusqu'à la cité et découvre le nom de son véritable père, Céphée, et de sa mère Danaé. Acrisios apprend que Persée est en ville et lui impose une mission impossible : tuer Méduse, la monstrueuse Gorgone. Méduse ressemble ici à une plante à tentacules dotée d'un œil unique ; elle peut animer et contrôler les hommes qu'elle a changés en statues. Persée affronte aussi un monstrueux dragon. Le héros réussit grâce à l'épée et au miroir dont il s'est muni, afin d'éviter le regard pétrifiant du monstre. De retour à Argos, Persée réclame le trône, mais Acrisios refuse : une bataille s'engage au cours de laquelle le héros triomphe du tyran.
