Singh is Kinng is a 2008 Indian action comedy film. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film stars, Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in lead roles. The film also featured a music video with Snoop Dogg. Released on 8 August 2008, a major part of the shooting was done in Australia. Akshay Kumar was also nominated for the Asian Film Awards under the Best Actor category for his performance in the film.Singh is Kinng was declared Superhit by Box Office India.

The spelling of the word "king" in the film's title with an additional letter "n" was based on advice provided by a numerologist.

This film is not related to the 2015 film, Singh Is Bliing which is also starring Akshay Kumar and was rumored to be the sequel to Singh is Kinng.

Synopsis

Lakhan Singh (Sonu Sood), a.k.a. Lucky, is the "king of the Australian underworld". He is accompanied by his Sikh mafia associates, Julie (Neha Dhupia), Mika (Jaaved Jaffrey), Pankaj Udaas (Yashpal Sharma), Raftaar (Sudhanshu Pandey), Dilbaugh Singh (Manoj Pahwa) and Guruji Gurbaksh Singh (Kamal Chopra). In a small village in Punjab, the birthplace of Lucky, lives another Sikh- Happy Singh (Akshay Kumar). Happy, though good at heart has unintentionally caused many problems in the village, and the villagers are fed up with him. They decide to send Happy on a long trip to Australia with his friend Rangeela (Om Puri) to bring Lucky back to Punjab, which will keep Happy out of the village for some time and bring peace to the village.

Deva (Ajay Devgan) est orphelin : son père, qui maltraitait sa mère, a été tué par son épouse. Un jour, Niranyan (Arif Khan), un des amis de Karan et fils du puissant gangster Shobhraj (Amrish Puri) est inculpé pour viol et meurtre. Shobhraj use de toute son influence auprès du politicien Om Gautam (Alok Nath) mais Siddhant refuse de libérer Nirayan. Un bras de fer entre Shobhraj et Siddhant commence. Bientôt, Siddhant surprend Karan, pistolet en main, aux côtés d’une jeune fille étendue morte. Sûr de la culpabilité de son fils, Siddhant le fait mettre en prison. Mais Deva, convaincu de l’innocence de son frère va tout faire pour le sauver.

When Kishen takes pictures of Prem and his girlfriend, and threatens to send them to his wife, Prem hires Bobby to seduce Kishen. The plan is that Kishen will fall in love with her, and Prem wants to see if Kishen can hide the relationship. Then the lies start happening, as Kaajal thinks Bobby is Shekhar's wife, and Sanjana thinks Bobby is Kishen's wife. It becomes a bundle of confusion and comedy when all the various people and couples start meeting.

Three friends - Bhavesh (Shreyas Talpade), Parag (Javed Jaffrey) and Pariksheet (Aashish Chaudhary) live in Pattaya, as paying guests in a house owned by Kiska Miglani (Asrani). Bhavesh works as a chef in a restaurant called Namaste India, owned by Ballu Singh (Johnny Lever). Ballu has a younger brother, Ronnie (Chunky Pandey), who wants ownership the restaurant, because he owes a considerable amount of money to a gangster, Murli (Inder Kumar). Parag is a screen writer for a television channel and Parikshit is a car salesman working for Aarti Gupta (Neha Dhupia). Eventually all three of them lose their jobs. The three friends are later joined by Jayesh (Vatsal Seth) from Mumbai, who is a cousin of Parikshit's, and tells them that an apartment is included if he gets a job at an architecture firm. After getting drunk celebrating Jayesh's arrival, they privately insult Kiska, who arrives back home unexpectedly, hears what they are saying and kicks them out. They go out in search of a place to stay and a friend of Parikshit's suggests paid lodgings. Parikshit and Jayesh go to the home to find its owner is Ballu Singh, to whom they are oblivious of the fact that he is Bhavesh's former employer. Ballu and his wife, Sweety (Delnaaz Paul), agree to let them stay on one condition - they must be married.
