Synopsis
La jeune pianiste Penny Vanderwood (Claude Jade) s'aperçoit qu'un robot du comte Saint-Germain joue aux échecs de la même façon que son fiancé décédé Robert Tournon. Elle convainc son ami Lewis Armeight d'ouvrir avec elle le cercueil de Robert, lequel est vide. Penny cherche alors à percer ce mystère et se lance sur les traces du comte...Actors

In the original "adult" film, the plot indicates that during the 1930s, in America, there was a sect composed of rich and eccentric libertines. They rejected any idea of love, considered artistic creation as a form of evil and tried to find in total sexual freedom the ecstasy of pure being. Following a conference that they called in New York in 1937, all members of the sect disappeared. Years later a journalist tracked them down to a secret location in the forests of South America. He too was never heard of again.

Agathe et Régis ont un petit garçon, Benoît, très capricieux et parfois agressif. Le couple, sur le point de divorcer, envisage de partir en vacances afin de mieux réfléchir à sa décision. Pour ce faire, Agathe et Régis publient une annonce dans un journal : « Jeune couple cherche grand-mère au pair pour s'occuper petit garçon, âgé de dix ans... ». Une vieille dame, Rose, se présente. Dr. Harrison Parker (Jeff Fahey) is a scientist working at Calgorin Industries who developed the Eden Formula, a chemical which can reproduce organisms and cure various diseases. In May 1962, dozens of wealthy passengers are dancing in the ballroom and upon the deck of the Italian ocean liner, Antonia Graza, while the ship's lounge singer, Francesca, sings "Senza Fine". On the deck, the sole child aboard, Katie Harwood, is sitting alone, until the ship's captain offers to dance with her. Elsewhere, a hand presses a lever that unravels a spool of wire from the ship's cargo crane. The spool snaps and the wire slices across the dance floor, cutting the dancers in half at the waist. Katie alone is spared due to her height.

In the North Atlantic off the coast of Greenland, a highly advanced deep sea oil rig has been recently constructed by the company Nexecon Petroleum, and named "Colossus" for its immense size. This "new" type of oil rig can dig deeper and extract more oil than any other in the world. The fact that this huge rig has been built on fault lines alarms geologists, who are concerned that the delicate ocean floor fault lines in that region might be disturbed through deep drilling, with catastrophic consequences. A reporter, Christen Giddings, has been invited by the CEO of Nexecon, Peter Brazier, to the oil rig in an attempt to address the concerns of the geologists. Christen is accompanied by a trusted cameraman Jake Thompson, who will record their findings. The oil rig's crew seem to be convinced that nothing bad will happen, and are skeptical of the geologists. Brazier hopes that a documented report on "Colossus" will reveal that his rig has all the necessary safety arrangements and that the region is stable enough for a drilling operation. As the drilling commences, a rich oil deposit is discovered. However, further drilling is not stopped and an "ocean floor fault line" gets ruptured, which opens a portal to a "mirror" ocean, hidden under the normal ocean for millions of years and containing prehistoric life. An explosion occurs and the drilling system collapses. A team of engineers descend through a glass elevator to assess the situation. A giant animal is spotted approaching, which turns out to be the most powerful and fearsome oceanic predator that ever lived, Carcharodon megalodon. A struggle for survival ensues as the crew and geologists attempt to escape from "Colossus", during which several people fall victim to the beast. In a desperate move to stop the monster shark, one of the crew members, Ross, lures it to an open space with his small submarine and overloads the fuel tanks of the machine, resulting in a gigantic explosion that kills both him and the beast. The ordeal is not over yet as another Megalodon ventures into open waters, passing below a boat with Christen Giddings on board. However she is unaware of its presence.

Out on a highway in Death Valley, a man picks up a female hitchhiker named Lucindia, and gives her a drink. Lucindia has a coughing fit upon ingesting the liquid, stumbles out of the vehicle, and is stabbed to death by the motorist. The man (revealed to be a priest, whose offer to Lucindia was holy water) buries Lucindia's body, and erects a crucifix similar to the dozens dotting the roadside over the impromptu grave. As the preacher prays, Lucindia reappears and bludgeons him with his shovel as he shouts "El Diablo!"
