Synopsis
Lors de leurs éternelles disputes, le docteur Andrea Valenti a tué accidentellement sa compagne qui s'est empalée en tombant sur une lampe (représentant une fleur avec des pétales d'acier). Le docteur, décide de faire disparaître le corps. Mais Daniela avait une demi-soeur, Evelyn, qui va tout mettre en oeuvre pour prouver à l'inspecteur Garrano que le docteur Andrea Valenti est bien l'assassin de Daniela.Actors

Kathryn West, a glamorous American widow, arrives in Italy several weeks after the death of her older, extremely wealthy husband. Une nuit, Peter, avocat de profession, se détend dans un night club Londonien. Il fait alors la rencontre d'Anna, une prostituée qu'il ramène chez son oncle chez lequel il loge. Un oncle, juge de métier, de grande réputation, et surtout très occupé alors à son bureau. A peine le couple rentré, le juge appelle, chargeant Peter de mettre la main sur un dossier important, dont il a besoin de façon urgente. Peter, de son côté légèrement accaparé ailleurs par la belle Anna, semble quant à lui un peu moins empressé... Mais voilà, qu'en cherchant le dossier Peter entrouvre une porte de placard et à l'intérieur y découvre le corp du mort d'une crise cardiaque. C'est alors qu'au sein de la maison surgit un jeune aux allures de voyou psychotique, les menaçant de son arme. Un huis clos infernal, dans lequel le couple est pris en otage, commence alors.

Un milliardaire, Johan Wallenberger, est assassiné dans le train fantôme d'une fête foraine. Avant de mourir, il a signé une assurance-vie élevée et sa compagnie d'assurances demande à leur meilleur enquêteur, Chris Buyer, de s'infiltrer dans la famille du défunt pour tenter de démasquer celui ou celle qui a assassiné leur client. Une jeune bourgeoise de 17 ans, Cristina, décide de s'émanciper du confort familial de ses parents aisés. Ce dernier lui dévoile son carnet d'adresses bien rempli avec les noms de certains notables de la capitale friands de femmes comme Cristina : jeunes, jolies et douées pour certaines choses. Elle accepte de travailler pour lui pour gagner facilement de l'argent plutôt que de passer des annonces dans les journaux. Devenue escort-girl, Cristina prend du plaisir avec ses clients, dont un professeur d'université raffiné, D'Angelo, qui la paie bien mais elle est obligée de partager ses gains avec Oskar. Jusqu'au jour où son petit amie, Marco, vient la harceler et que celui de Paolo lui fait du rentre-dedans. Tandis que son père violent lui demande de rentrer à la maison. Mais sa vie est bouleversée lorsque la police retrouve le cadavre de D'Angelo dans son appartement. Peu de temps après avoir couché avec Cristina, il a été égorgé. Un énigmatique meurtrier assassine tous ses clients un par un avec une lame de rasoir.
