The Three Caballeros is a 1944 American animated musical film produced by Walt Disney Productions. The film premiered in Mexico City on December 21, 1944. It was released in the United States on February 3, 1945 and in the UK that March. The seventh animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series, the film plots an adventure through parts of Latin America, combining live-action and animation. This is the second of the six package films released by Walt Disney Animation Studios in the 1940s.
The film is plotted as a series of self-contained segments, strung together by the device of Donald Duck opening birthday gifts from his Latin American friends. Several Latin American stars of the period appear, including singers Aurora Miranda (sister of Carmen Miranda) and Dora Luz, as well as singer and dancer Carmen Molina.
The film was produced as part of the studio's good will message for South America. The film stars Donald Duck, who in the course of the film is joined by old friend José Carioca, the cigar-smoking parrot from Saludos Amigos (1942) representing Brazil, and later makes a new friend in the persona of pistol-packing rooster Panchito Pistoles, representing Mexico. (The film was plagued by a severe case of white specks and excess grain.
Synopsis
Donald Duck reçoit en cadeau d'anniversaire une énorme boîte. Il y découvre un projecteur cinématographique, des bobines de films, un livre et un disque. Donald et Dingo exercent le métier de colleur d'affiches. Ils doivent apposer des affiches à la campagne et arrivent près d'une ferme. Tandis que Donald placarde les murs et les barrières, Dingo s'approche d'un moulin à vent. Une aile du moulin emporte le balai encolleur de Dingo alors qu'il l'avait posé pour dérouler l'affiche. Donald de son côté se fait chiper l'affiche représentant une boite de soupe par une chèvre affamée. Dingo récupère son balai mais une fois l'affiche collée il ne comprend pas sa disparition et placarde chaque aile. Donald entame lui une guerre des nerfs avec la chèvre.

It's a peaceful day at the local poultry farm, and our narrator introduces the audience to the locals, Cocky Locky, Henny Penny, Turkey Lurkey, Ducky Lucky, Goosey Loosey and the titular Chicken Little (a yo-yo wielding simpleton). The birds live happy and content existence in their farm yard knowing that they're well protected. But little do they know, outside the yard Foxy Loxy has happened along and is intent on catching himself a chicken dinner. However, he can't hop in and help himself, due to the high fence, the locks on the gate, and the farmer being armed with a shotgun. But Foxy Loxy is anything if not cunning; after all there are other ways to swipe a chicken. So taking advice from his psychology manual he states, "Why not get one, when you can get them all." He reads aloud a passage telling him that the best way to manipulate the whole flock is to begin with "the least intelligent".
