In the summer of 2006, Percy recounts the story of Thalia and her sacrifice. A young Annabeth, Luke, Grover and Thalia are running to Camp Half-Blood while being pursued by monsters. Thalia sacrifices herself to get the others into the camp, and her father Zeus transforms her into a pine tree, creating a magical border around the camp. Soon a Cyclops passes through the border and is revealed to be Tyson, Percy's half-brother. The camp is later attacked by a Colchis Bull who breaks through the border and ravages Camp Half-Blood. Percy defeats it with the help of Tyson, Annabeth, and Clarisse. Following this, Luke Castellan (who had survived his and Percy's battle in the previous film) appears and confronts Percy, trying to convert him to his cause. When Percy refuses, Luke disappears.

Perseus realizes the walls of Tartarus are crumbling and Zeus informs him that the imprisoned Titan Kronos will soon be free. Perseus, valuing his family's safety, refuses to get involved.

Calypso arrive, le réveille, alors que les jeunes filles s’éclipsent. Elle l’attire devant la grotte, puis disparaît, laissant la place à la main du cyclope qui essaie d’attraper Ulysse. Le géant sort ensuite sa tête et le héros lui transperce son seul œil avec une lance. Ulysse part alors, Calypso tente en vain de le retenir et pleure au milieu de ses amies.

Long after Zeus stole the Cronus Stone from the monsters called the Titans, he and Alcmene gave birth to a son named Hercules, who defeated two serpents (presumably sent by a jealous Hera) at a young age and became a hero. After Hercules battles a sea serpent, the villagers thank him, and Iolaus climbs out of a restchair and joins him. Hercules and Iolaus head to Thebes to see Alcmene but Iolaus is a little upset because Hercules takes the credit. Meanwhile, Xena and Gabrielle reclaim the gold stolen by satyrs from a group of travelers in Corinth. Ares tells Xena to stop Hercules from going to Thebes because there is a trap set for him there, but Xena doesn't believe him and leaves with Gabrielle.

Méduse a perdu la mémoire, victime d'un sort que lui a jeté sa sœur Euryale. Mais elle s'ennuie et se prend d’amitié pour Cornelius, une jeune promeneuse.

Le colosse Ursus, de retour chez lui après avoir livré bataille, découvre que sa fiancée Attea a été déportée sur une île lointaine par des prêtres païens. Il part à sa recherche avec Doreide, une esclave aveugle qui devine qu'Attea a été enlevée par Setas, un ancien ami d'Ursus. Ce dernier se met en travers de leur chemin et capture Ursus qui arrive à briser ses liens et réussit à s'enfuir avec Doreide. Ils rencontrent la belle courtisane Magali qui se propose de les aider à traverser une zone désertique. Magali essaie de séduire Ursus et, ulcérée par son refus, tente de le piéger avec la complicité de Setas, mais elle meurt dans leur affrontement dont Ursus et Doreide sortent victorieux. Le couple arrive enfin dans l'île et découvre qu'Attea, soumise à l'emprise maléfique de Setas, est devenue la malfaisante prêtresse de l'île. Ursus essaie sans succès de la soustraire au pouvoir occulte de Setas et se retrouve dans une arène pour combattre un monstrueux taureau qu'il finit par tuer. Ursus dresse alors une révolte au cours de laquelle Attea et Setas trouvent la mort tandis que Doreide recouvre la vue à la suite d'une violente commotion. Elle s'embarque avec Ursus sur le chemin du retour.
