He is known for television roles as NYPD Detective Mike Logan on the police procedural and legal drama television series, Law & Order and Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and as Mr. Big on Sex and the City. For the latter role, he has been nominated for a Golden Globe Award. As of 2015, he is a star of the CBS drama series The Good Wife, for which he was also nominated for a Golden Globe.
Noth also owned the semi-private club The Plumm with Noel Ashman, David Wells, Damon Dash, Ann Dexter-Jones, Joey McIntyre, and Bo Dietl. Noth and Wilson owned Once Upon a Tea Cup, a tea-party themed restaurant franchise with branches in Windsor and London, Ontario (both locations now closed). He is also a supporter of Da Marino in New York City, where he has performed as a singer.

Biography
Noth is co-owner of The Cutting Room, a music venue in New York City that opened in late 1999, with Steve Walter, a former student at Berklee College of Music. Noth met his wife, Tara Lynn Wilson, while she was working at The Cutting Room; they married on April 6, 2012. Their son, Orion Christopher Noth, was born in January 2008.Noth also owned the semi-private club The Plumm with Noel Ashman, David Wells, Damon Dash, Ann Dexter-Jones, Joey McIntyre, and Bo Dietl. In an alternate universe where evil usually triumphs over good and where the roles of the heroes and villains are reversed from their counterparts in the mainstream DC Universe, heroic analogues of Lex Luthor and the Joker (called the Jester) are attempting to steal a device, the "Quantum Trigger", from the headquarters of the Crime Syndicate. Single mother Jean (Heather Locklear) relocates every time she gets her heart broken by another guy, much to the dismay of her teenage daughter, Holly (Hilary Duff).
