Azhagesan (pronounced as Alakesan), is an Indian Hindu male name, which originates from the Southern part of India.

An Indian movie titled Azhagesan was released in 2004 in Tamil and the movie was directed by Director Arthi Kumar. The film features Sathyaraj and Prema in lead roles. The film, produced by B. Avinash and C. Inayathullah, had musical score by Deva and was released on 20 August 2004. The film is a remake of the critical acclaimed 2001 Malayalam film Karumadikkuttan.

Synopsis

Azhagesan (Sathyaraj), loves his cousin Nandini (Prema), a college student. Neelakandan (Pithamagan Mahadevan), the village landlord, has a son Sekhar (Manoj K. Jayan) who is a womaniser.
