The story is set during the Karabagh War and revolves around an old, sick ex-forestry worker and his wife Nabat whose son has died in battle. They live in a small isolated house far from the nearest village but to which Nabat has to go every couple of days to sell milk from their only cow. As war approaches ever closer the village is slowly deserted and following her husband's death, Nabat is left all alone to fend for herself.
Synopsis
Nabat et son mari Iskender ancien garde forestier âgé et très malade, vivent dans une petite maison isolée loin du village. Depuis un certain temps la guerre s’est installée dans le pays et leur fils a été tué au front. Les seules ressources du couple consistent en la vente du lait produit par leur unique vache que Nabat apporte tous les deux jours au village. L’ombre de la guerre enveloppe progressivement la région et le village est peu à peu abandonné par ses occupants. Iskender disparu, Nabat va devoir assumer sa vie dans un lieu déserté par les hommes mais sous le regard d’une louve…Actors

La trouvant à son goût, Hamid se sent très rapidement épris d’elle.

Based on The Glass Menagerie, the movie details the story of Yalda (Negar Javaherian), a disabled girl who has a great interest for collecting glass animals and harbors a secret attraction towards her brother Ehsan's best friend Reza (Parsa Pirouzfar). Her brother Ehsan (Saber Abar), whose voiceover introduces the film, writes poetry and desperately dreams of leaving Iran. He dreams of being a writer and spends his spare time haunting cinemas and watching old movies over and over. Farideh (Fatemeh Motamed-Aria) holds down two jobs to help support her family. Farideh is the only member of the family who interacts with the brutal conditions of Iran and willingly takes the challenge. Farideh is probably the most altered of Williams' characters (Amanda) in the original play.

Amir has always wished to travel to Abadan and now in his elderly days he wants to materialise his wish, but before doing so he needs to return a package to a friend. In this process he goes missing. Marjan, a middle-aged, middle-class Tehran resident and Amir's daughter, is distraught when her father goes missing. She goes to see her estranged husband, Aman, who reluctantly agrees to look for Amir, while Marjan watches over Aman's house, which is being renovated. Aman enlists the aid of his old friend, Atta, and the two drive off in search of Amir, who presumably took off to find an old friend whom he seems to have forgotten died years earlier.
