Tiger is a Telugu film directed by N.Ramesh and produced by P.Gangadhara Rao. It was the first time N. T. Rama Rao and Rajinikanth starred together. It was also Rajinikanth's 50th film in his career.
Synopsis
NTR and Rajini are siblings separated during childhood. NTR lives with his mother (Anjali Devi) in a village while, Rajini works becomes a policeman. Meanwhile, Rajini is employed by Prabhakar Reddy to kill NTR. While attempting to kill NTR, a serious fight takes place and both come to find out they are siblings. In the end they both kill Prabhakar Reddy, who is the main villain and reunite with their mother, played by Anjali Devi. Radha Saluja and Subhashini play the love interests of N. T. Rama Rao and Rajinikanth respectively.Actors

Pedarayudu (Mohanbabu) is a very kind-hearted, disciplined man. He sits on the ancestral throne in his village to do justice (similar to panchayat). He hears all the cases and gives solutions and punishments to the wrong-doers. His wife, Bhanupriya admires and respects him a lot. His brothers Mohanbabu and Raja Ravindra fear for him and also have a lot of respect for him as he has brought them up as his children. The young Mohanbabu marries Soundarya, daughter of an industrialist Satyanarayana. She at first never liked Pedarayudu and her husband for being so timid before his brother but later transforms after knowing his greatness from her father.Raja Ravindra loves his paternal cousin(Anandaraj)'s daughter. In the flashback, Paparayudu(Rajanikanth) father of Pedarayudu orders Anandaraj to marry his servant's daughter whom he raped, though he is his sister(Jayanthi)'s son. His brother-in-law(Chalapathi Rao) shoots at him as he is disappointed by his verdict.Enraged Paparayudu gives his final verdict before dying to abandon their family and whoever visits his house will receive the same punishment and also not to share even a glass of water with them. Anandaraj from then builds envy on his uncle's family and waits for an opportunity to take revenge on them. He plans to bring a lady (Subhashri) as a teacher to the school in the village and tells her to make young Mohanbabu fall for her. She does so to save her father who is in the hands of Anandaraj. He kills her and makes the villagers believe that Mohanbabu has done this. Pedarayudu sentences 10 years of exile for his brother's family. Now Anandaraj comes to know of his daughter's love and tries to kill Raja Ravindra with the help of his goons. Mohanbabu goes in rescue of him and pregnant Soundarya goes to Pedarayudu to convey this message. Jayanthi rushes to Pedarayudu and reveals the truth and tells that he punished his brother without committing any mistake. Mohanbabu takes revenge on Anandaraj and pedarayudu dies on knowing that he gave a wrong verdict. Now Mohanbabu is shown taking the ancestral throne from his brother.

Amarvedu dynasty was attacked by Britishers at the time of Bobbili war in South India. Before the Britishers are about to attack the dynasty, a couple of friends Daanaala Dharmayya (Gummadi) and Pagadaala Subbayya hides the treasure in a cave of five doors, very far away. They lock the treasure with five keys and the two friends separate, so as to make the key unavailable to the Britishers. The film starts off with a happy family consisting of Kapil Kumar Khanna (Satyendra Kapoor), his wife Durga (Nirupa Roy), and their two sons Karan (Master Ravi) and Kishen. Karan is a very naughty kid and usually angers their parents while at his pranks. Kapil Kumar is an honest inspector and one day, on his wife's request, takes Karan with him. While on duty, Khanna goes to arrest Vidyanath (Kader Khan) and Ranjit Saxena (Ranjit) for possessing illegal drugs. Ranjit and Vidyanath try to kill by throwing him onto the ground using machinery, when Karan, in an attempt to save his father, pulls the wrong lever and Kapil Khanna is killed. Vidyanath accuses Karan of killing his father, and his mother Durga also in a fit of rage, beats him and tells him to go away. In a wave of emotions, Karan leaves the house and runs towards the ocean. He jumps in and commits suicide. His mother is heartbroken and says she did not want him to leave her and give her such a punishment. Karan has not died, but has been saved by Hussein (Master Suresh) and brings Karan to his home where he finds a new mother (Renu Joshi)and he and Hussein become best friends, giving an example to mankind, which is later shown in this movie.

Vijay (Rajinikanth) is a Tamil professor living with his widowed mother and his sister. He is in love with Uma (Ambika), a lawyer. During a visit to his friend Ravi's (Nizhalgal Ravi) house, he is disgusted by goings-on in his neighborhood. Illicit liquor is being sold at a tea-stall while prostitution is flourishing in another house in the same colony. But his complaints to the police, yield nothing since the policeman is on the villains' payroll and manages to warn them before making a raid. When Ravi's sister is raped and killed and the perpetrator Mohanraj (Sathyaraj) gets off scot-freewith help from a minister, Vijay and Ravi take matters into their own hands and clean up the tea-stall and brothel on their own. Wanting to teach Vijay a lesson, Mohanraj and his goondas rape his sister (who then commits suicide) and kill his mother. Vijay then turns into a vigilante, walking the streets at nights and dealing out his own brand of justice - shoot first and ask questions later - to the rowdies and goondas. He soon becomes known as Robinhood, helper of the poor and the police sends Singaaram (Bhagyaraj) to unmask Robinhood.
