Mahmoud (played by Emam) realizes one morning that he cannot recognize the people who work at his home, including his nurse Mona (Nelly Karim). However, he has actually been deceived by his children to believe that he has Alzheimer's disease, so they can get control of his wealth to pay off their own debts.
Faten Hamama plays Sawsan, a middle-class orphan who meets Adel (Omar Sharif), a rich man, at an auction hall. He tries to approach her but she refuses him. As a result, he eventually marries her. His playboy friends, Shafeek and Malak (among others), feel uncomfortable with Sawsan being around, as she condemns the style of life that they lead, and therefore Adel orders her to stay at home. While staying alone at home, Sawsan works on some land Adel owns, with the help of one of Adel's old friends, Mustafa (Omar El-Hariri). Adel's playboy friends try to destroy Adel's marriage by telling him that Sawsan is having an affair with his friend, Mustafa. Adel's friends try to exploit Adel for his fortunes and convince him to sell his land. Mustafa talks to Adel and convinces him not to sell his land to his exploiter friends. Adel realizes his mistake, expels his friends, and returns to his wife.
A young girl named Muna continues her studies after the tragic loss of her father. She meets Sayed, a man with whom she becomes romantically inclined and wants to get married. Muna’s mother does not approve of their upcoming marriage because he has not finished his studies and thinks of Sayed as a failure. Muna and her four girl friends take on the obstacles her mother sets forth in order to continue their love, and endure a variety of ups and downs throughout the voyage.
Taking place in Egypt, Excuse My French follows 12-year-old Hany, played by Ahmed Dash, as he tries to fit in at his new public school following the death of his banker father. The death of Hany's father leaves his mother unable to afford to keep him in private school. Hany's privileged background shows through his style of dress and alienates him for his peers. Another thing that separates him is that he is also the only Christian in a classroom full of Muslims.
Khosro Paziresh, the inventor of a magical washing powder, goes to a company to sell his invention but he falls down the elevator and gets transferred to a hospital. Darioosh Jam, the CEO of the company, dies from a stroke after finding out that his company is bankrupt and he too gets transferred to the same hospital. The transplant team in the hospital, transplant Khosro's brain in Darioosh's body and Khosro stays alive in the CEO's body.
