The focus of the film is on the seven runners participating in the Rome Marathon. Shots of the marathon are interspersed with interviews and documentary footage of the runners. Running experts who are not involved directly in the race are also interviewed. The experts include American authors Hal Higdon, Jeff Galloway, John Bingham, and Roger Robinson. American runners Bill Rodgers, Frank Shorter, Nina Kuscsik, Kathrine Switzer, Mary Wittenberg, and Rod Dixon are also interviewed. Italian runners Gelindo Bordin, Orlando Pizzolato, and Stefano Baldini are interviewed, as well as former world record holder, Ethiopian Haile Gebrselassie, British world-record holder Paula Radcliffe, and Norwegian Grete Waitz.

The film follows 13-year-old football starlet Pablo Rosario around for a year, Pablo is thirteen and follows a general secondary education, while playing for local football club DWS, the same club that produced the likes of Frank Rijkaard and Ruud Gullit, Dutch international football stars who both found their start in the youth ranks of this same club. Just like many soccer playing boys his age, Pablo dreams of one day playing for FC Barcelona. His coach is convinced of the young boys talent and foresees a great future for him. Filmmaker Jack Janssen follows Pablo for a whole year, a year where all three of the Dutch big three Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord express an interest in contracting the young child. Janssen shows Pablo's performance on the pitch, where he is able to effortlessly dissect his opponents, with his family watching, where his father showers him with well-intended, but oftentimes inconsistent advice. At school things are running less smoothly for young Pablo, while the film offers insight into the world of a young professional soccer player, where a continuous and often even tougher battle for young talents is fought by the top clubs.

In the 2013 documentary "Superjews" director Nirit Peled sheds light on the supporters of the Dutch association football club AFC Ajax, who have often referred to themselves as super Jews. What makes the documentary unique however, is that she offers the perspective of both the supporters, as well as her own personal perspective as an Israeli immigrant living in Amsterdam searching to find her own identity.

In November 2007, she won the light-heavyweight and overall at the NPC Nationals and received her IFBB pro card. There is only around 85 professional female bodybuilders in the entire world that are part of the International Federation of BodyBuilders (IFBB). She can bench-press 225 lb (102 kg) and squat around 350 lb (160 kg).
