En novembre 1920, Albert Maillard est interrogé par un officier de la Gendarmerie française, au Maroc. À travers son témoignage, il raconte la fin de sa participation à la Première Guerre mondiale, sa rencontre avec Édouard Péricourt, fils de bonne famille parisienne défiguré lors du conflit. Ensemble, ils montent une opération d'escroquerie. L'histoire suit également Henri d'Aulnay-Pradelle, leur ancien lieutenant va-t-en guerre devenu lui aussi escroc et qui est parvenu à intégrer la famille Péricourt, dont le patriarche règne sur la classe politique parisienne.

Maxime is overwhelmed boss of a company working ambulance. Deceived by his wife, he refuses to forgive her. He learns that his mother Olga, a woman with strong character - who refuses submission and the world today - is in custody after being interposed in a brawl. He moved to Bordeaux to get out of jail. Maxime knows that Olga and her father Jacques reports are not looking good, but it takes her. On the way back, Olga divert the route to go for the black boy Tiemoko, son of an African deportable without papers, to hide the home away from authorities. Maxime take the opportunity to spend a few days with her parents, away from his occupational and marital troubles. Despite the quarrels of his parents, he discovered his mother's concern for her father, who, under the air of jovial loving good bottles and cigarettes banned his wife is in poor health. Le soir d'une éclipse totale de Lune, Vincent et Marie, parents de Margot, reçoivent à dîner trois amis d'enfance de Vincent : Marco, Thomas et Ben, les deux premiers accompagnés de leurs épouses respectives, Charlotte et Léa, et le troisième censé venir avec une nouvelle copine qu'aucun membre du groupe d'amis n'a encore jamais rencontrée. Peu après le début de la soirée, sur une suggestion de Marie, les amis acceptent de jouer à un jeu : tous doivent poser leur téléphone portable au milieu de la table et chaque SMS, appel téléphonique, courriel ou message de réseau social doit être partagé avec le reste de la tablée. Ils ne tardent pas à découvrir que, en amour comme en amitié, il vaut mieux ne pas tout savoir. En effet, au fur et à mesure des vérités qui sont révélées, le jeu provoque de plus en plus de tensions.
